Police made several arrests last
week, including the following:
• On December 1 at 6 p.m., on
the prime block of S. Second
Street, police were originally
called to the location in reference
to a disturbance. While investigat-
ing the disturbance, police deter-
mined that Kristi Henehan, 38, of
Hammonton, had an outstanding
warrant from atlantic City for
$1,500, friel said.
“She was not able to post bail,
so she was transported to the at-
lantic County Jail,” friel said.
Sgt. Donald Kunen was the ar-
resting officer, friel said.
• On December 1 at 8:59 p.m.,
police were called to a residence
on the 500 block of N. third
Street in reference to a subject at-
tempting to gain access to the res-
idence, friel said.
Jennifer Dybus, 34, of egg Har-
bor City, was found to have
punched through a back door
plate-glass window, cutting her
arm, friel said.
“She was transported to the at-
lantiCare Satellite emergency De-
partment for treatment of the
injury. She was also found to have
been operating a vehicle under the
influence of alcohol and was later
released under John’s Law,” friel
said.
friel said Dybus was charged
with driving while under the influ-
ence of alcohol and careless driv-
ing.
Officer Jared Baglivo was the
arresting officer, friel said.
in other police news, police
made a drug arrest after following
a “suspicious vehicle” outside the
12th Street Wawa in its parking lot
to Broadway at 11:39 p.m. on De-
cember 1, Hammonton Police Lt.
Kevin friel said.
friel said that a subject was ob-
served leaving his vehicle, going
into the backseat of another vehi-
cle and re-entering the vehicle
where he began, but with a back-
pack, friel said.
the vehicle was followed to
Broadway, where it was stopped,
friel said.
“the officer spoke with the in-
dividuals and a police K-9 arrived
at the location and had a positive
indication on the vehicle for con-
trolled dangerous substance,”
friel said.
friel said the vehicle was
checked, and a clear baggie con-
taining a green leafy vegetation
believed to be marijuana was
found in the backpack, friel said.
Bridgett rizzotte, 18, of Sewell,
was charged with possession of
marijuana under 50 grams and
motor vehicle charges including:
improper display of plates, failure
to make repairs and unsafe glaz-
ing material, friel said. She was
charged and released pending
court, friel said.
a juvenile in the car was
charged on a juvenile petition for
possession of cds marijuana under
50 grams and was released to a
guardian, friel said.
friel said Officer Kyle am-
brozaitis was the arresting officer,
and the K-9 investigation was
handled by K-9 Officer Jonathan
O’Neil and his K-9 partner Havoc.
