Chief: Business owner said they were taken from warehouse

HaMMONtON—Police are investigat-
ing the theft of $150,000 in ranges and re-
frigerators that were allegedly stolen from
a warehouse on the prime block of Wey-
mouth road, Hammonton Police Chief
Kevin friel said. the theft was reported to
police earlier this month, friel said.
“the complainant stated that multiple
items from the business warehouse had
been taken from the 19th of October to the
16th of November. the business owner ad-
vised that there were a large amount of
ranges and refrigerators taken from the
warehouse between those dates, with an es-
timated loss of $150,000,” friel said.
Sgt. thomas Percodani is the investigat-
ing officer, friel said, adding that anyone
with any information about the thefts should
contact the Hammonton Police Department
at (609) 561-4000.
in other police news, a man was charged
with driving while under the influence of al-
cohol (DWi) at 11:23 p.m. on November 21
in the area of Walmer and third Streets,
friel said.
