Louis R . Condo , Sr ., 86 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully Monday , November 13 , 2023 . Lou was born and raised in Waterford , N . J . and graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School . He was employed for many years by ERB Engineering in Philadelphia . In 1984 he opened Lou ’ s Amoco and provided friendly service until he retired in 2005 .

He is predeceased by his loving wife , Anna Condo ( nee Grasso ); granddaughter , Gina Marie Conway ; his sister , Margaret Condo ; and his parents , Louis N . and Margaret ( nee Graff ) Condo . Lou is survived by his children , Marchell Conway ( Dennis ), Anna Marie Carpo ( Rick ), Louis R . Condo , Jr . ( Liz ) and Tracy Condo . Also surviving are his siblings , Ralph Condo ( Marion ), Robert Condo ( Margie ), Linda Carlamere ( Frank ), Judy Toussaint ( late Harry ), Patricia Caporale ( late Peter ), Joanne Lardi and Maryann Passarella ( late Robert ). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren , Dennis and Lauren Conway , Ricky Carpo , Louie and Dillan Condo , Alex ( Ian ) DiMatteo , Louis and Julianna and great-grandson Rhett DiMatteo and great-granddaughter Amelia .

Relatives and friends were invited to attend his viewing on Thursday , November 16 , 2023 from 9 a . m . – 11 a . m . and funeral services were at 11 a . m . all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N . George Vlasics

George Vlasics , 88 , of Hammonton , N . J . passed away peacefully Thursday November 16 , 2023 at AtlantiCare in Pomona , N . J . He was born in Hungary and previously resided in Philadelphia before becoming a resident of Hammonton for over 25 years . George loved people . He would often be seen talking and laughing with anyone he would meet . He was a very active man and enjoyed going to the gym , casinos and restaurants . George previously worked as a photographer and hairdresser .

George is predeceased by his beloved wife , Eleanor ( Fiorentino ) and survived by his many nieces , nephews and close friends .

Relatives and friends were invited to attend his viewing Tuesday November 21 , 2023 from 9 a . m . - 10 a . m . at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N . Third Street Hammonton , NJ . Services were held at 10 a . m . at the funeral home , followed by a private cremation . Disorderly conduct and assault arrests made

HAMMONTON — A Mullica Twp . man was arrested and cited on two separate occasions , according to Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel .

The Hammonton Police Department received a call of a disturbance between two male subjects arguing in the 100 block of S . White Horse Pike on Nov . 16 at 2:40 p . m .

Police responded and were told that two gentlemen were arguing in front of one of the stores in the plaza and walked along the side of the building .

Officer Christopher Henshaw observed two male subjects having a verbal altercation . One of the subjects was identified as Michael Gabris , 55 , of Mullica Twp . Gabris stated that he and the other male subject were “ having a beef .”

Gabris was found to be in possession of small wax folds and two crystalline rocks in a small bag believed to be methamphetamine .

Gabris was arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance ( CDS ) -methamphetamine and possession of CDS-paraphernalia .

Gabris was released , pending court appearance in Atlantic County Superior Court .

Henshaw was the investigating and arresting officer .

Officer Travis Hoffman was on patrol when he observed a subject in the 100 block of S . White Horse Pike on Nov . 18 at 3:04 a . m .

The subject , identified as Gabris , was on property where he had been previously advised that he was not privileged to be on .

Gabris was issued a summons for defiant trespassing . Gabris will be appearing at Hammonton Joint Municipal Court on the offense . Hoffman was the charging officer .

This report is comprised of arrests and investigations made by the men and women of local enforcement . All suspects and arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
