Donio, 80, (nee zarrella), of Winslow, NJ died peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Born in Camden she was a lifelong South Jersey resident. She was the former Postmaster at Winslow Post Office and retired as Postmaster at Waterford Post Office. Mrs. Donio also formerly worked as a secretary for rCA. She was a member of the Winslow Vol. fire Co. Ladies Aux- iliary. Mrs. Donio loved reading books, it was her favorite pastime. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Donio Sr. Mrs. Donio is survived by her two daughters, Adrienne Donio Weiss and her husband Eric, Valerie Donio fanelle and her husband robert; her son, Anthony Donio Jr. and his wife Sharon; her brother, Anthony zarrella and his wife Maryann and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph, Emma rose, Alexandria Christina, Ayden Anthony and Anthony richard. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish—St. Anthony of Padua Church, Hammonton. Arrangements made by the Carnesale funeral Home. Vincent S. Brigandi Vincent S. Brigandi, 89, of Winslow died peacefully at home on Sat- urday, November 17, 2018. Born in Winslow he was a lifelong resident there. Vince was an avid hunter and he belonged to inskip Antlers Gun Club in Winslow and South Jersey Beagle Club in Vincentown. He was a volunteer fireman for the Winslow fire Department, and he was a member of the Holy Name So- ciety, Sons of italy in Landisville, and the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7774. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Vince worked as a principal engineer for the State of New Jersey Department of Trans- portation retiring in 1991. He enjoyed spending time outside working in his garden, on his tractor and taking care of his grapes that his family used to make home- made wine. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean M. Brigandi; his parents, Salvatore and Mary Brig- andi; and his brother, Joseph Brigandi. He is survived by three sons, frank V. Brigandi (Cathy) of Atco, Sam Brigandi of Hammonton and richard A. Brigandi of Winslow; two grandchildren, Jim Bompensa (Maria) and Joseph O’Neil (Theresa); three great grandchil- dren, Mia, Jade, and Drew; one sister, Eleanor Greco of Vineland and one sister-in-law, Judy Brigandi of Winslow. A viewing will be held on friday, November 23, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Carnesale funeral Home, 202 S. Ana Maria Torres Ana María Torres, 83, of Philadelphia, Pa. died peacefully on Novem- ber 14, 2018 in the hospital. Ana was born on April 17, 1935 in Salinas, Pr to parents rosaura and Juan Velez. At the age of 17 Ana married and shortly thereafter moved to Doylestown, Pa. After living many years in Pa. Ana decided that she would make the change to move to Hammonton, to have a better life for her and her children. Once she established herself she then started to work in various factories until she was able to land a job at Lenox China as an inspector. She gave Lenox China 16 years of service and then retired. Once retired she took care of her ill daughter, Yvette. Years later she then returned back to Pennsylvania to now take care of her ill mother too. One of Ana’s most memorable moments was going to the Puerto rican Civic Club where she spent many nights dancing, something she really loved to do. She was predeceased by her two daughters, Yvette ramirez and Miriam Torres. Ana leaves behind one sister, Delvia Diaz (Julio Diaz) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight children, ruth E rodriguez of Philadelphia, Margaret rivera of Atco, Agnes Hanna (William) of Maryland, Edwin Torres Sr. of reading, Pa., Annette Stowers (Wayne) of Homosassa, fla., Anna reveron (Bernard) of Philadelphia, Marilyn Nogue (Alberto) of Hammonton and Eduardo Marrero of Philadelphia; 36 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her children and many friends. You will forever be in our hearts. Bendición Mami. Monday, November 19, 12:58 p.m. Drug arrests made by HPD by Gabe Donio G AzETTE S TAff W riTEr HAMMONTON—At 5:01 p.m. on November 13, Darius Clark, 37, of Atlantic City was arrested near the area of the prime block of 12th Street on a warrant and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, Hammonton Police Chief robert Jones said. The warrant was for $1,500 and there was a second warrant for $1,500, both from Hammonton, Jones said. There was also a $350 warrant from Atlantic City, Jones said. Clark was charged with posses- sion of drug paraphernalia, Jones said, adding that he was trans- ported to the Atlantic County Jail after failing to post bail. Officer renzo Mendoza was the arresting officer, Jones said. in related news, at 5:16 p.m. on November 14, two subjects were arrested after a report of drug ac- tivity on Applefield Loop in Ply- mouth Place Apartments, Jones said. Police responded and after Marcella C. Dougherty Marcella C. Dougherty, 53, of Hammonton died peacefully at Samar- itan Hospice on Thursday, November 15, 2018 with her husband at her side. Born in York, Pa. she resided in Hammonton for more than 25 years. Marcy was a retail associate at Macy’s Department Store in the Hamilton Mall, Mays Landing. She is predeceased by her father, Nelson Leroy Stahl and her brother- in-law, The Honorable Allen J. Littlefield. Marcy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas A. According to Jones, they were each arrested for possession of marijuana, and Thomas was ar- rested for possession with intent to distribute and possession. “There were three ounces of marijuana seized, which is about the size of a small pillow,” Jones said. Schaffer was charged with pos- session of marijuana, Jones said. According to Jones, while police were checking the two subjects from the car, two other subjects ex- ited the Walmart pushing a shop- ping cart. They were: William Heffner iii, 20, of Williamstown and ramon Gomez, 27, of Berlin, Jones said. K-9 Officer robert zbikowski noted their items in the shopping cart were not in a bag, Jones said. “All four were together. it ap- pears that the two individuals with the shopping cart were shoplifting from the Walmart while the other subjects were in the car,” Jones said. Both Heffner and Gomez were charged with shoplifting and Gomez also had a $500 warrant from the City of Camden, Jones said. zbikowski and Officer renzo Mendoza were the arresting offi- cers, Jones said.
