Brenda S . Danesi

Brenda S . ( nee Schuitema ) Danesi , 56 , of Berlin and formerly of Hammonton , died on Sunday , November 6 , 2016 , at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees .

Born and raised in Cedar Lake , Ind ., Brenda was a devoted housewife and grandmother . Brenda was one of the most caring people . Her home and heart were always open , and she loved unconditionally .

Brenda was predeceased by her father , John Schuitema Sr .; three brothers , Ronald , Gilbert and John ; and grandson , Brayden . She is survived by her husband , Carlo P . Danesi ; her four children , Louis Schuitema ( Mindie Morris ) of Bellevue , Nev ., Alex Danesi of Bellevue , Nev ., Marilyn Danesi ( Joseph Grimes ) of Sicklerville , and Madilyn Komis ( Ed ) of Cherry Hill ; her mother , Marilyn Schuitema of Cedar Lake , Ind .; her two sisters , Linda Garcia of Cedar Lake and Sarah Perrin of Lowell , Ind .; her grandchildren , Joshua Talley , Allison , Emily , Illianna and Onika Schuitema , Isabella and Leah Komis , Scarlett Parks and Carlo Michael Danesi .

Family and friends attended Funeral Services on Saturday , November 12 at the Marinella Funeral Home , 102 N . Third St ., Hammonton . Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery , 124 S . First Rd ., Hammonton .

Joan I . DeVries

Joan I . ( nee Bryson ) DeVries , 84 , of Hammonton , died on Wednesday , November 9 , 2016 , at Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees .

Born in Philadelphia , she was a longtime resident of Hammonton . Before retiring , she worked as a licensed practical nurse at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital . Joan was a devoted member of Victory Bible Church in Hammonton .

She was predeceased by her daughter , JoAnn DeFelice . She is survived by one son , Stuart W . DeVries Sr . ( Ana ) of Hammonton ; three grandchildren , Jenn DeFelice of Hammonton , Tiffany De- Vries and Stuart W . DeVries Jr . both of Massachusetts ; one brother , Frank Bryson ( Maryann ) of Winslow ; and one sister , Sheryl Goff of Mt . Laurel .

Family and friends attended Funeral Services on Friday , November 11 , 2016 , at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton . Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton .

Kathy Loretta Neil

Kathy Loretta Neil , 58 , of Nesco , died on Monday , November 7 , 2016 , surrounded by her family at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center of Mainland .

A loving mother , sister , fiancée and daughter , Kathy is survived by her fiancé , Billy ; her daughter , Megan ; her mother and stepfather , Barbara and Julio , and her siblings , Tom , Maria , Michael , Sandra , Gordon and Deanna .

Family and friends attended Funeral Services on Thursday , November 10 , 2016 , at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton . Burial followed at Batsto-Pleasant Mills United Methodist Church Cemetery .

POLICE , from Page 1 counts of possession of a weapon

for unlawful purposes , including pointing the weapon and pulling the trigger and for striking the individual with the weapon ; three counts of aggravated assault ; receiving stolen property ; and possession of a hypodermic needle / syringe .

Sgt . Sean Grasso was the arresting officer , Jones said .

In other police news , on November 7 , Michael Campione , 29 , of Hammonton , was arrested and charged with aggravated arson for throwing a Molotov cocktail at a residence on Pleasant Street on October 17 , Jones said . Jones said bail for Campione was set at $ 35,000 by Judge

Robert Switzer . Campione was transported to the Atlantic County Jail , Jones said .

Det . Sgt . Edward Slimm headed the investigation , which led to the arrest of Campione , Jones said .

Officer Brandan Campbell was the initial investigating officer , Jones said .

Also , Steven Schaub , 30 , of Clementon , was arrested on a $ 5,000 warrant from Hammonton and two warrants from Lindenwold , one for $ 350 and one for $ 450 at 6:18 a . m . on November 11 , Jones said . He was transported to the Atlantic County Jail in lieu of payment of the warrants , Jones said .

Jones said Officer Kenneth O ’ Neil was the arresting officer .

Anthony C . Cappuccio

Anthony C . Cappuccio , 47 , of Atlantic City , died on Thursday , November 10 , 2016 , in Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden .

Born in Camden , he grew up in Hammonton and moved to Atlantic City eight years ago . He formerly worked at Trump Marina as a HVAC maintenance worker . Anthony loved playing his guitar and “ jamming ” with his brother and friends . He was a loving uncle who adored all of his nieces and nephews , and he will be greatly missed by his family .

Anthony was predeceased by his parents , Joyce and Angelo Cappuccio ; his sister , Sharon and brother , Buddy . He is survived by his two sisters , LeeAnne Olivo ( Frank ) of Egg Harbor , Donna Conrey ( John ) of Burlington ; his brother , Ronald Cappuccio ( Colleen ) of Glassboro ; his nieces and nephew , Kristi DelBene , Charlee DeFebbo , Rebecca and John Conrey ; his great-niece and nephews , Vincent , Gabriella and Luca Del- Bene .

Family and friends attended Funeral Services on Tuesday , November 15 , 2016 , at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third St ., Hammonton .

Further , police made two separate arrests of two separate individuals for driving while under the influence ( DWI ) last week , Jones said .

• On November 7 at 7:27 p . m ., police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident that involved Elizabeth Six , 41 , from Medford . The accident occurred on Route 206 , and Six was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol ( DWI ), refusal of the breath test , passing to the right , following too closely and unsafe lane change , Jones said .

Officer Jason Rigby was the arresting officer , Jones said . Six was released when sober per John ’ s Law , Jones said .

• On November 13 at 12:53 a . m ., Rontonio Jones , 26 , of Millville , was stopped on a motor vehicle violation and was charged with DWI , careless driving and failure to maintain a lane , Jones said . Officer Kyle Ambrozaitis was the arresting officer , Jones said . He was released when sober per

John ’ s Law , Jones said . Finally , Ryan Basile , 19 , was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia at Tonilynn Court at 10:53 a . m . on November 7 , Jones said .

“ We received a report of a subject sleeping in the basement near the washing machines . He had five bags of heroin and one syringe in his possession ,” Jones said . Officer Jared Baglivo was the arresting officer , Jones said . Basile was released on his own recognizance , Jones said .
