Kelsey Peterson, 30, of Ventnor, was found to have a warrant from Pleasantville in the amount of $750 and a warrant from Brick Twp. in the amount of $340. Peterson was released on bail by Officer Sean Grasso, Salvatore said. Two DWI arrests made by Gabe Donio GAZETTE STAFF WRITER HAMMONTON—According to Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore, two DWI arrests were made last week by police. • At 5:47 on October 27 on Weymouth Road, David Grant, 50, of Hammonton, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, obstructing the flow of traffic and possession of prescription pills without a proper prescription, Salvatore said. Grant was released after becoming sober, Salvatore said. Officer Jason Rigby was the arresting officer, Salvatore said. • At 8:55 p.m. on October 27 on Route 206, Deborah Miller, 54, of Brick Twp., was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident, Salvatore said. She was charged and released by Officer David Reustle, Salvatore said. Two arrested at Valley Ave. Apts. by Gabe Donio GAZETTE STAFF WRITER HAMMONTON—Two women were arrested at the Valley Avenue Apartments at 9:30 a.m. on October 29, Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore said. Tina Howard, 39, of Hammonton, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and disorderly conduct, Salvatore said. Danielle Doto, 28, of Waterford Twp., was charged with disorderly conduct, Salvatore said. Salvatore said both women were released on their own recognizance by Officer Sean Grasso, who was the arresting officer. Please recycle this paper. dance. Councilman Steven Furgione said he has contacted a representative from Clean-Flo who will be in attendance at the meeting. Clean-Flo is the oxygenation system that works to treat and clean the water in the lake. “Environmental Commission will provide a little information about what’s going on with the lake in relation to their group. Parks and Rec will talk about what’s happening with the [Hammonton] Lake Park. We will probably spend 20 to 30 minutes telling everyone what’s going on then open it up to the public … We want to see where we should go next. Do we keep spending money with Clean-Flo or is it worth getting it repaired? Do people want to see swimming at the lake?” Furgione said. Furgione has been working with Hammonton Municipal Utilities Superintendent Anthony DeCicco to determine what exactly the water quality readings from the last three years say about the lake. These numbers will be explained in detail during the meeting. Hammonton Environmental Commission Chairman Robert Reitmeyer is urging residents to come out and let their voices be heard on November 10. “What we want to do is disseminate information about the lake to the residents who may not have that much knowledge of what’s going on at the lake. For a few years \, we’ve been collecting these water samples through a town intern and having the samples tested at the Water and Sewer Department. We want to bring those results, whether good or bad, out into the open for people to talk about … We want to hear what people like and don’t like about Hammonton Lake Park. What other opportunities for recreation might they like to have?
