Edward H . Grimm

Edward H . Grimm Jr ., 56 , of Hammonton , died peacefully on October , 18 , 2016 , surrounded by his loving family .
Ed was a great man and lived life every day to the fullest . He was a work leader for Atlantic City Electric , and he retired earlier this year . He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No . 210 , where he served on the executive board . He loved jet skiing , motocross and the Philadelphia Flyers . He loved his family , friends and his little dog , Missy . He will be sadly missed by all who knew him .
He was predeceased by his father , Edward H . Grimm Sr . He is survived by his wife , Maria ; his son , Edward H . Grimm III and his fiancée , Allison Irish ; his daughter , Gia Marie Grimm ; his mother , Jean Grimm ; his sister , Gina O ’ Brien ( Scott ), all of Hammonton ; his brother-in-law , William Graham ( Nancy ) of Egg Harbor Township ; his sister-in-law , Nancy Whitcraft ( Jack ) of Washington Twp .; one niece , Kristen Gallagher ( Vincent ) of Philadelphia ; two nephews , William Graham IV and Jack Whitcraft .
Family and friends attended his Funeral Services on Monday , October 24 , 2016 , at Victory Bible Church , 816 S . Egg Harbor Road in Hammonton . Burial followed at St . James Lutheran Cemetery , 1341 Mays Landing Road in Folsom .

Joseph J . Papa Sr ., 87 , of Blue Anchor , died on Tuesday , October , 18 , 2016 , at Virtua Hospital in Marlton .
Born and raised in Blue Anchor , he graduated from Lower Camden County Regional High School in 1948 . He served in the U . S . Army as a Corporal in the Korean War . He worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union # 19 . Joe was a member of the Bowling League and the Berlin V . F . W . Post # 625 .
Joe was predeceased by his wife , Jean Anna ( nee Frederico ); son , Joseph J . Papa Jr .; parents , Angelo and Rose ; brother , Frank and sisters , Rose , Mary , Julie , Millie , Frances , Carmella and Anna . He is survived by his children , Dominic Papa ( Carolynn ) of East Berlin , Pa ., Linda Friedley ( Scott ) of Hammonton , Sharon Papa – LaSasso of Hammonton , Annmarie Papa of Grand Rapids , Mich .; brother , Dominic Maiese of Winslow Twp .; sisters-in-law , Inez and Harriet Frederico of Blue Anchor ; grandchildren , Dominic A . Papa ( Jennifer ), Jason Friedley ( Sarah ), Kimberly Papa – Smith ( Shane ), JoAnna LaSasso , Kevin Friedley and Emily LaSasso and great-grandchildren , Annalyn , A . J . and Alice .

Victor ( Vic ) Carvin , of Hammonton , born August 31 , 1932 , died on October 19 , 2016 , at the Virtua Hospital in Voorhees .
Vic traveled 48 of 50 states including Hawaii and Alaska and the major cities of Canada , Virgin Islands , Caribbean , South Africa , Israel and Mexico . He was the District and Regional Sales Manager for manufacturers of underwater and cutting welding equipment for 32 years . He honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict attached to the 40th Army Division Special Unit ASA & NSA comprised of US , Korea and Chinese military . He was also a lifetime member of the VFW .
Vic was predeceased by his brother , Gerald Carvin and sistersin-law , Rose Carvin and Sally Carvin . He is survived by his wife , Barbara ; daughter , Christina Carvin of Holmes , Pa .; son , Vic Carvin of Largo , Fla .; sister , Eileen Helm ( Bill ) of Woolwich Twp .; brother , Richard Carvin of Delran ; and several nieces and nephews .
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday , October 26 , 2016 , from 9:30 a . m . to 10:45 a . m . at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish / St . Anthony ’ s Church , 285 Rt . 206 , Hammonton , where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a . m . Cremation and interment will be private .

board in December 2015 and is looking to return for another year . Father to four-year-old twin boys , the former St . Joseph High School , Delsea Regional High School and Rider University baseball coach said he decided it was time to get involved with the board and help make a difference in the academic future of his sons , as well as the rest of the children in Hammonton ’ s school districts .
“ I have two young kids that are now four … and I just wanted to get involved … With the extra time I have , I just thought it was the right time ,” Scipione said .

James R . Herrington

James R . Herrington , 67 , of Hammonton , died peacefully on Thursday , October 20 , 2016 , with his loving wife at his side .
Born in Atlantic City , he was a lifelong South Jersey resident . He was a member of the Glass , Molders , Pottery and Plastics Allied Workers Union . He was a veteran of the Vietnam War , where he served in the Marine Corp . Jim was a retired service operator for Lenox China .
He was predeceased by his brother-in-law , James Doherty . Jim is survived by his wife , Rosemary ( nee Clements ) Herrington ; his sister-in-law , Patricia Doherty of Reading , Mass .; eight nieces and nephews ; nine great-nieces and nephews , and many cousins and friends .
Funeral Services will be held on Friday , October 28 , 2016 , 1:30 p . m . at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third St ., Hammonton , where a viewing will be held from 11:30 a . m . until 1:30 p . m . Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery . John R . Lolio Sr .

John R . Lolio Sr ., 93 , of Hammonton , died on Friday , October 21 , 2016 , surrounded by his loving family and friends .
John was a 1940 graduate of Hammonton High School and a graduate of Bainbridge MD , and Norfolk Virginia Electrical Schools . He was a veteran of World War II , US Navy Petty Officer First class . Mr . Lolio was a senior electrician and served from 1943 until 1946 aboard USS Eisner Destroyer Escort 192 in the Atlantic , European , African , Middle East , Pacific , Asiatic and American Theaters of War . He worked for the Atlantic City Electric for 45 years in several electric service positions as well as a supervisor in Glassboro , Hammonton and Atlantic City districts . After retiring , John continued to work as a consultant for Atlantic City Electric . He was also a NJ licensed electrician and NJ licensed Realtor . Some of his memberships include Hammonton American Legion F . A . Funston Post # 186 , Hammonton VFW Passalaqua Post # 1026 and the Senior Citizens club . He loved sharing time with his friends and family . His hobbies include fishing , casinos , traveling , sports , gardening and hunting .
John Sr . was predeceased by his wife , Rose , of 56 years ; his sister , Marie Pizzi and brother , Charles Lolio . He is survived by his son , John R . Lolio Jr ., Esq ., ( Patty ); his grandchildren , Tracy Kozlowski ( Mark ), Bobby Lolio ( Elizabeth ); his great-grandchildren , Luke , Kiley , Ava , Carter and Bailey , and several nieces and nephews .

of how the school has embraced the use of technology in recent years , which is something he would like to see continue .
“ I would like to see a continuation in the technical side , the computer side … We just invested several hundred thousand dollars in new science labs ; I would like to see that continue . They were labs that we ’ ve had since the 1970s , so we just re-did all of those ,” Scipione said .
Scipione noted that he is currently one of three board members who don ’ t have any conflicts listed under the School Ethics Act and therefore , would be eligible to be on the selection committee for the new superintendent and would also be eligible to help negotiate the new teachers ’ contract . Scipione also said he recently found out his opponent , Ingemi , does have one of the aforementioned conflicts .

Louise E . Wood

Louise E . ( nee Berninger ) Wood , 77 , of Nesco , died on Thursday , October 20 , 2016 , at The Health Center at Galloway – LTC .
Born in Mullica Twp ., she was a longtime resident of Nesco . Louise was a homemaker most of her life and previously worked as cashier at Acme , a switchboard operator at Hemco , both in Hammonton , and a barmaid at several locations in South Jersey . She was an avid bowler , Eagles and Phillies fan , former member at the VFW Devonshire Ladies Aux ., Nesco United Methodist Church , and sat on the Board of Elections in Mullica Twp .
Louise was predeceased by her husband , Richard V ; parents , Rance and Ann Berninger ; sister , Mary Ann Burke . She is survived by nephews , Frank L . ( Debbie ) Burke III , William ( Renee ) Burke ; niece , Lou Ann ( John ) Whiteley ; greatnephews and nieces , Frank L . Burke IV , Kyle ( Kristen ) Burke , Kristen ( Mike ) DeAngelo , Summer Burke ; great-great nephew and niece , Frank L . Burke V , Ciara Burke .
