Frank Theodore Baker Sr ., 74 , passed away at Jefferson hospital in Washington . Township on October 6th 2023 at 4:30 p . m . Frank was born January 7th 1949 to Frank and Margaret “ Peggy ” Baker , ( Kohler ) in Philadelphia , Pa . They moved to Maple shade , N . J . in 1963 and in 1968 he was drafted into the U . S . Army . He trained as a UH1 door gunner in Fort Benning , Ga , where he was sent to Germany and served as a crew chief on the UH1 . He served from 1968 to 1971 and was honorably discharged . Frank was a member of various organizations and clubs , including the American Legion post 252 . He was involved in New Gretna Railroad Club and also the Boy Scouts of America . His passions are passed on to his sons and grandson , including fishing , hunting , boating and the great outdoors .
He is survived by his wife , Marie ; his brother , Samuel Higgins ; his sons , Frank T . Jr . Baker ( Carla ) and Patrick Baker ; and daughter , Karen Baker . His grandchildren , Leonah Marie Baker and Gabriel Baker . Condolences can be sent to Frankbaker79 @ gmail . com

William J . Flood

William J . Flood , 71 , of Valrico , Fla . passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday , October 10th in the comfort of his home with his wife and sister by his side . He was born in Philadelphia and raised in Hammonton , N . J . where he graduated from Hammonton High School . On July 1 , 1972 he enlisted in the U . S . Navy where he served as on the destroyer USS Sarsfield in Vietnam waters where he earned the National Defense Medal , Vietnam Service Medal and Combat Action Ribbon .
Bill was previously employed at Claridge Casino and then the Hilton Casino in Atlantic City , N . J . as Director of Facilities . After leaving casino employment , he was employed at CM3 in Pennsylvania . He currently was working at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa , Fla . as a Facilities Manager . Bill loved music , dancing and celebrating holidays with his family , and also spending time with his dogs , Sophie , Louie and Oliver . He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams , the Phillies , Eagles and the Flyers .
Bill is predeceased by his son , William J . Jr .; his mother and father , Joseph and Eleanor Flood ; and his brother-in-law , David Iuliucci . Bill is survived by his wife , Susan ; sons , Brian ( Elizabeth DeLuca ) and Brandon ( Danielle LaSasso ); and his granddaughter , Aubrey . He is also survived by his brothers , Joseph ( Carolyn ), Edward ( Diane ); and his sister , Raye Ann . He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families , along with his many treasured friends .
Family and friends were invited to attend his viewing Tuesday , October 17 , 2023 from 9 a . m . - 11 a . m ., funeral services followed at 11 a . m . at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N Third St . Hammonton , NJ 08037 . Entombment followed in Greenmount Cemetery 124 S 1st Rd . Hammonton , NJ 08037 . HPD makes four DUI arrests

The Hammonton Police Department arrested four people , including a juvenile , for driving under the influence , according to Chief of Police Kevin Friel .
Officer Travis Hoffman conducted a motor vehicle stop on Oct . 9 at 9:55 p . m . at the 600 block of S . White Horse Pike .
Hoffman was traveling west on Route 30 and had a vehicle tailgate his patrol vehicle . The vehicle was observed to be traveling in a reckless manner and crossed into the opposite lane and passed Hoffman ’ s patrol vehicle .
Jaquin Roback , 27 , Galloway , was identified as the driver . A strong odor of raw and burnt cannabis coming from within the vehicle and a glass pipe containing burnt substances was located in the center console of the vehicle .
Roback admitted to smoking cannabis and showed signs of impairment . Roback was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing .
Roback was charged with possession of marijuana , possession of marijuana over 50 grams , distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphenilia , DUI , careless and reckless driving , disregarding a traffic-controlled device , following too closely , unsafe vehicle , unregistered vehicle , open container in a motor vehicle , failure to give proper signal and failure to maintain lane of travel .
Roback was released , pending court appearance in Atlantic County Superior Court .
Police were dispatched for the report of an erratic driver in the areas of N . White Horse Pike and Route 206 on Oct . 12 at 10:06
