William A . Bartolone Jr .

William a . Bartolone Jr ., 71 , formerly of Hammonton , died on tuesday , September 27 , 2016 , at inspira Medical Center in Vineland .

Born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from St . Joseph High School in 1963 , Bill served in the army reserve . He owned and operated his family farm Bartolone farms inc . for many years . William was also a member of the St . John ’ s Society .

William was predeceased by his son , William a . Bartolone iii and his parents , Mary and William a . Bartolone Sr . He is survived by his wife , Louise ( nee adamucci ); two daughters , Lori ann Divito and her husband , John of Sicklerville , and Stephanie Mcfadden and her husband , Billy of Marlton ; three brothers , Jack Bartolone ( Linda ) and Buddy Bartolone ( Linda restuccio ) both of Hammonton , and Michael Bartolone ( Sherry ) of egg Harbor ; grandchildren , Kristen , Vinny , Gianna and John Divito Jr ., Nicholas , ella and Billy Mcfadden Jr . He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews . family and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday , October 3 at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish – St . Joseph Church , third and french streets , Hammonton . Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery , 124 S . first rd ., Hammonton . Donations may be made to charity of one ’ s choice . arrangements made by the Marinella funeral Home .

Joseph G . Beiso

Joseph G . Beiso , a . k . a . “ Joey ,” 73 , died on Sunday peacefully , with his daughter by his side .

Joey was born on June 27 , 1943 , in Philadelphia . He was the son of Lucy M . Beiso ( nee Morrone ) of Canajoharie , NY , and Joseph f . Beiso of troy , NY ; beloved widower of Christine Linda Beiso ( nee Schina ); and loving father of roberta ann Beiso . Joey was a resident of Hammonton , formerly of Overbrook , Pa ., and owner of Linda ’ s Variety Store . He was very active in the community and parishes of St . Callistus and St . Donato ’ s in Overbrook . in recent years , he was a member of the Hammonton Senior Center and a resident of the Heritage assisted Living .

Joseph was predeceased his parents , Lucy M . and Joseph f . Beiso , and his wife , Chritine Linda Beiso . family and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on friday , September 30 , 2016 , at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish , Church of St . anthony of Padua Church , 285 rte . 206 in Hammonton . Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , Hammonton . arrangements made by the Carnesale funeral Home .

Martha M . Reilly

Martha M . ( nee Walker ) reilly , 83 , of Collings Lakes , died September 28 , 2016 , at atlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway twp .

Born and raised in Philadelphia , Pa ., Martha moved to Collings Lakes in 1958 . She managed the Buena Vista Market along with her husband , Charles , and family . She worked at foreman ’ s Coat factory making London fog rain Coats , Our Lady of Victories School in the Cafeteria and went on to work at Harrah ’ s Hotel and Casino . Martha was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church .

Martha was predeceased by her son , timothy B . reilly . She is survived by her husband , Charles H . reilly ; her children , Charles L . reilly ( Kathy Clay ) of Collings Lakes , Dennis M . reilly ( Marlene Vitale ) of Buena Vista twp . and Donna Garrison ( Michael ) of Visalia , Calif .; her grandchildren , David and Dennis reilly and her great-grandchild , David timothy reilly . family and friends attended funeral Services on tuesday , October 4 at the Marinella funeral Home , 102 N . third St . arleen e . Bertman , of Hammonton , died on September 30 , 2016 arleen was a graduate of Glassboro College with a degree in Home economics . She was an active member of the Kessler Hospital auxiliary and also enjoyed tennis , bicycling and swimming . arleen was predeceased by her parents , Jack and Lillian Crass . She is survived by her husband , John Bertman ; her children , Jacob ( Christine ) Bertman , ellen ( Dave Helm ) Bertman , Michael Bertman and robert ( erin ) Bertman ; her grandchildren , zachary , Lillian , Michael and Gabriella ; her brother , ronald Crass . BUSINESS , from Page 1 new dining room in addition to the space they already had and have seen more people coming into their restaurant to fill in the extra space .

“ it is much better than before . We have plenty of room now for families and people are happy . We can fit 50 or 60 people in there ,” co-owner German Lucas said .

With the second room , andy ’ s Pizzeria now has the ability to offer its customers special family gatherings , birthday parties and other events that have large groups of people . in addition , they were able to hire more people to work at the restaurant .

“ i think it ’ s a good investment for this time of year . We can see that Hammonton is all family people … so thank you to all of the community ,” co-owner Marko Carranza said . However , andy ’ s Pizza is not the only place that opened up a larger room .

SaDee ’ s fashion boutique was once in a very small store on Bellevue avenue with limited space . Owner Leeann Garvey decided as her store was widening its sales , it was time to widen its store . the new store opened just a couple stores down from where SaDee ’ s was originally and is up and ready for shoppers to visit .

“ We decided to expand to incorporate men ’ s clothing , to include a variety for downtown shopping … i want to give everyone , especially men , a chance to come here and not have to go to the mall or the outlets ,” Garvey said .

With the larger store , there is now more shelf space for the additional products . On one side , there is female clothing , and on the other side , there is now a collection of male clothing for all people to choose . Not only did this change give the products more shelf space , but it also created more room for shoppers to walk around and have better visuals of the merchandise . Garvey said they are happy about the quality of the store now and do not plan on changing anything else anytime soon .

Marcello ’ s is another business in Hammonton that has been doing work for years now , improving both the quality and size of the restaurant . renovations have been in the process starting in the party room and now have touched up the front room with a few different things . Now , in the front area where the register and pizza ovens are , it is what owner antonio Mandreucci calls “ the market .” there are a variety of jars of the homemade pasta sauces available to anyone who wishes to take home the menu ’ s ingredients to make their own dishes , just like walking into a regular market . “ i ’ m just trying to keep up with the pace . i ’ m here , and i want to offer what i can . We just celebrated 20th anniversary , and i always feel like there is something i can do to improve ,” Mandreucci said .

Marcello ’ s is not stopping there . Mandreucci is currently creating a new entrance into the banquet room for private parties and wants to do a secluded outdoor dining section near the back , similar to parts of italy where many dine outside . along with people outside of town being brought in by Main- Street events and festivals , other businesses originally from other

Businesses expanding , arriving

towns have been opening up as well . Planet fitness also opened in the Hammonton Square Mall ( next to Walmart ) on the White Horse Pike ( route 30 ) earlier this year and appears to be doing well as one of the newer places in the area .
