“ I just love the carnival . I just love seeing all the people , all the kids having fun , seeing the families come out together ,” Rivera said . “ I just like to see parents enjoying time with their kids , and it ’ s just nice to see the community all together .”
Rivera said he ’ s looking forward to having a face painter and balloon artist making things for the kids and seeing everyone have a good time .
SMMCP Director of Communications Susan Davidow said Sunday , Oct . 8 will be the fall festival day .
“ Sunday is really our fall festival day , so we have a lot of things going on Sunday that do not happen during the week ,” Davidow said .
During the festival on Oct . 8 , there will be a corn maze , face painting , pumpkin bowling / painting and hayrides .
“ The kids love the corn maze and the hayrides . It ’ s just a lot of fun stuff happening ,” Davidow said .
Candy apples , funnel cake and pizza are some of the food items that will be available throughout the festival .
Along with food stands , there will also be a beer and wine garden and live music each night .
“ Thursday night we ’ re going to have a country style band , TJ Fry . And then Friday night we are going to have a DJ ,” Rivera said . “ Saturday , we have Gypsy Train then on Sunday from 1-4 p . m ., we have Suitcase Murphy and then in the evening we have a Mexican group called Infiel Norteño .”

For the carnival , there will be wristband nights for $ 25 per person each night with unlimited rides only on day of purchase . The wristbands can only be purchased on Thursday or Sunday onsite at the festival .
Four-day unlimited ride mega passes are available for $ 35 per person before the festival .
On the day of the festival the price for the mega passes will be $ 40 .

HPD reports two DUIs
CRIME , from Page 2
Corporal Kyle Ambrozaitis was dispatched to the 400 block of South White Horse Pike in reference to a motor vehicle crash on Sept . 23 at 9:08 p . m .
Ambrozaitis observed a blue SUV partially into the roadway and partially off to the shoulder as well as a sign down and a telephone pole split in half .
Julie Lazaridis , 46 , of Mullica Township , stated that she had no recollection of the sequence of events that had happened prior to the crash and that she was on her way home to her Mullica Township residence .
Lazaridis ’ s speech was slurred and Ambrozaitis detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath in person .
Lazaridis was transported to police headquarters for processing and was issued with the following motor vehicle summonses : DUI , refusal to submit to breath testing , reckless and careless driving , failure to possess registration for vehicle , failure to possess the insurance card for vehicle and open container of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle .
Lazaridis was released , as per John ’ s Law , pending a court appearance at Hammonton Joint Municipal Court .
This report is comprised of arrests and investigations made by the men and women of local enforcement . All suspects and arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law .
