A patrol observed a subject in the road-
way flagging down traffic on Route 54,

HAMMONTON—A man who walked
onto Route 54 on the 700 block of 12th
Street while Hammonton Police Cpl. Chris
Clements was attempting to speak with him
the side and began to attempt to speak with
the male subject, who was later identified
as Andre Craigwell, 27, of Hammonton,
Friel said.
“As the officer attempted to speak with
him, he walked away and walked into the
roadway, almost causing a collision with a
vehicle,” Friel said.
Craigwell was stopped, taken into cus-
tody, found to be under the influence of a
controlled dangerous substance and was
failing to comply with orders from

monton Planning Board held their
regular meeting on September 18,
2019.
First on the agenda was Appli-
cation #10-19ZB submitted by
Vine Street Properties, LLC, who
was seeking a waiver of site plans
for 317 Bellevue Avenue.
Brian G. Howell, of Howell and
Bertman, presented the applica-
tion, with testimony by Jeffrey P.
Michelini, managing member of
Vine Street Properties.
The applicant wishes to con-
struct a 16-foot by 23-foot second-
