Angel L. Padro
Angel L. Padro died on Saturday, September 15, 2018.
He was a lifelong resident of Hammonton and lived in Wharton Park
for more than 30 years. He was a Laborer at Wheaton Glass in Millville
and worked there for more than 22 years. He was a loving father and
husband and he was loved by so many people.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Matilde Padro; three
children, Jose A. Padro of Whitehall, Pa., Virgen Lopez of Vineland,
Miguel A Nunez of Galloway and stepson, Adriel Gonzalez of Hammon-
ton and Orlando Gonzalez; his beloved grandkids, Mia Padro of New
York, Makayla A. Nunez of Galloway, Janelle eyken, Nicole Padro,
Miguel Nunez Jr., Maria Perez, Adriel Gonzalez Jr., eric Gonzalez, Kaylee Gonzalez, and
Selena Gonzalez; his niece, Madelyn Torres; his beloved niece and caretaker, ramona Diaz
and her husband Luis A. Diaz both of Sicklerville; his beloved daughter-in-law, Lisa Alfaro
and Lara Manney and Diana Luciano; his best friends, rosa and Vitin Martinez, Bill Smith
and franco of Vineland; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; his beloved
nieces, nephews and family members from Utuado, Pr and Vineland; his beloved brother,
Tono Padro from Arizona, and a long list of beloved friends whom he cared for very deeply
and beloved family dog, Kaos who was always by his side.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 10 a.m. to noon at the
Carnesale funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral Services will
take place at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.

Jeanne Rae Adair
Jeanne rae Adair, 65, of Millville died on Monday, September 10,
2018 in Kennedy University Hospital, from injuries sustained in an auto-
mobile accident.
Born in Philadelphia she was raised in Berlin, N.J., Jeanne moved to
Collings Lakes and spent time in florida before moving back to South
Jersey. She was the sales manager for Savannah Trucking LLC. Jeanne
was an eMT for 10 years with the Collings Lakes Ambulance Squad.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne McKnight Sr.; her four
children, Shannon DeHart, Gary Brandon Adair, ryan eliot Adair, Donald
Wayne McKnight Jr.; her brother, George Sykes and her six grandchil-
dren, Savannah Jeanne DeHart, Austin Anthony DeHart, elijah Keal, rebecca Keal, Macy
Wright and Paxton Wright.

HSH shows new
paver walkway

HAMMONTON—Thanks to
the combined planning efforts of
several volunteers and the gener-
ous contributions of more than
230 donors, the Historical Society
of Hammonton (HSH) was re-
cently able to install a concrete
walkway that leads to the front of
its museum in Veterans Memorial
Park. flanking the walkway on
each side are brick pavers en-
graved with the names of various
Hammonton residents and busi-
nesses.
Holds open house
The HSH held an open house at
its museum on September 16 to
showcase the new walkway,
which had been conceived by
HSH member Barbara zinno and
HSH secretary Denise Saia, both
of whom HSH President Anne
Marie DeCicco commended for
taking command in organizing the
project.

Several arrests made by police

vestigations during the last week:
• On September 10 at 2:10 p.m.,
there was a report of vandalism or
criminal mischief on the 600
block of Bellevue Avenue, friel
said.
The walk-in complaint stated
that sometime between Sunday
September 9 at 6 p.m. and Sunday
September 9 at 10 p.m., someone
pried off his driver’s side door
mirror while he was in the syna-
gogue, friel said.
Class ii Officer Dalton Ver-
darame is investigating the inci-
dent, friel said.

• On September 10 at 6:45
p.m., on the 700 block of Pleasant
Mills road, there was a report of
a suspicious person running
through yards, friel said.
Upon arrival, police encoun-
tered Daniel Dutton Jr., 37, of
Mays Landing, friel said.
Dutton was charged with tres-
passing and arrested for same, and
was released pending a court ap-
pearance, friel said.
The arresting officer was Class
ii Officer Travis Hoffman, friel
said.
• On September 11 at 7:58 a.m.,
on the 600 block of N. Third
Street, a hit and run that had oc-
curred during the night was dis-
covered, friel said.
“Through an investigation, it
was discovered that a vehicle had
left the roadway, struck a speed
limit sign, a trash toter and trav-
eled through the lawn of a resident
of the area of the 600 block of
North Third Street. The vehicle
left the area,” friel said.

the investigati ng officer. friel said
anyone who has information or
witnessed the crash should call

• On September 12 at 1:07 a.m.
on the 900 block of 14th Street,
police responded to a distur-
bance/argument call and encoun-
tered William Martinez, 49, of
Hammonton, who was intoxicated
and creating a disturbance, friel
said.
Officer Brandan Campbell was
the arresting officer, and charged
Martinez with disorderly conduct,
friel said. friel said Martinez was
held until sober pending a court
date in Hammonton.
• On September 12 at 1:59 p.m.
on the prime block of the S. White
Horse Pike, police received a call
of two individuals involved in an
altercation, friel said. One of the
participants was rodney Gilliard
Jr., 23, who was found to have an
outstanding warrant in the amount
of $2,500, friel said.
Mullica Twp. approved a per-
centage bail amount, which
Gilliard posted and was released
pending a court appearance in
Mullica Twp., friel said.

• On September 12 at 2:54 p.m.,
a burglary was discovered on the
300 block of 12th Street, friel
said.
friel said police were contacted
about the burglary, and Officer
eric Pohl responded to the scene
of the burglary.
“A camper’s storage compart-
ment was entered and a power
cord valued at $300 was taken
from the 5th wheel camper in the
driveway at the rear of the busi-
ness establishment and resi-
dence,” friel said.
Pohl is the investigating officer,
friel said.
• On September 13 at 9:46 p.m.,
on the 1100 block of S. White
Horse Pike, there was a motor ve-
hicle stop of a vehicle driven by
esteban Sandoval, 26, of Ham-
monton which generated an in-
quiry and found that Sandoval
was in possession of marijuana
and drug paraphernalia, friel said.
Sandoval was charged with fail-
ure to signal, careless driving,
possession of drug paraphernalia
and possession of marijuana under
50 grams, friel said.
Officer Brandan Campbell was
the arresting officer, friel said.
Sandoval was released pending a
court date, friel said.
• On September 14 at 9:01 p.m.,
police were contacted about a man
slumped over the wheel of his ve-
hicle, friel said.
Police went to the 100 block of
Basin road, where Jack LeMun-
yon Jr., 43, of Shamong, was
found in his vehicle, friel said.
“He was given Narcan by At-
lantiCare eMS and regained con-
sciousness,” friel said.
LeMunyon was transported by
eMS and charged with the fol-
lowing traffic summonses: driv-
ing while under the influence,
reckless driving, failure to wear a
seat belt, open container in a ve-
hicle, unlicensed driver and driv-
ing while suspended, friel said.
LeMunyon will be summoned
to appear in court in Hammonton
regarding the vehicular charges,
friel said.
