recent fire on the prime block of
Plymouth Road were later bur-
glarized, with their coins stolen

“The residents came home fol-
lowing a fire at their property and
noticed a safe had been pried
open,” Panarello said.
Approximately $200 to $300 in
coins had been stolen, they told
police, Panarello said.
The alleged crime was reported
to police on August 23, Panarello
said.
Officer Eric Pohl was the inves-
tigating officer, Panarello said.

HAMMONTON—The Ham-
monton School District is prepar-
ing for the 2017-2018 school year.
The board of education and ad-
ministrations of the district’s four
schools have spent summer facili-
tating new programs and improv-
ing the facilities ahead of a new
school year, which many are opti-
mistically awaiting after what has
been widely considered a success-
ful 2016-2017 district year.
