were extremely happy to get the opportunity to do so . Jasmine Kinezle was eager to get the event up and running , and to have an area for the skaters of the communities to have fun . To achieve this , the non-profit had to have guests sign a waiver that releases liability from the town of
Hammonton .
“ We have the insurance policy and everything in place ,” Kinezle said .
There were rules in place on the waiver , such as bringing their own ramps and equipment to the event , and that a parent or guardian must be present if the skater was under
the age of 18 . The waiver specifically stated that the group was only allowed to skate in the designated “ Skate Spot .” Skateboarding was not permitted in the hockey rink in 11th Street Park for the group .

HAMMONTON — At the August 16 meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission , members of the public sought updates about the upcoming pickleball courts at Hammonton Middle School .
Kellie Adamucci and Liz Ranere expressed interest in learning about the town ’ s plans to accommodate the sport , which is growing in popularity .
“ Do you have some in motion ?” Adamucci said .
Councilman Sam Rodio responded , noting that he had talked with Mayor Stephen DiDonato that day on the topic .
“ They should be going to bid , definitely , in the next four to six weeks . There is a change that the school wanted to make on the direction of their courts . The mayor
also wanted to make sure that we have them in the right direction . He sees how it looks disgusting there — I ’ ll use that word — the See COMMISSION , Page 3
