Charles L. Gazzara
Charles L. Gazzara, 82, of Hammonton died on tuesday, august 13,
2019 with his loving family at his side in Our Lady of Lourdes Medical
Center in Camden.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident. He formerly
worked at the Hammonton Post Office as a mail carrier, as a salesman
at Gibase Shoe Store and he also sold insurance for Colonial Life. Gaz-
zara was a former Mayor for the town of Hammonton where he also
served on town Council. He was also a member of the Hammonton
Planning Board and longtime member of the Hammonton Democratic
Club. He served as President for the Hammonton rotary Club, the
Jaycee Club and the assumption Society. He was a former member of
the Knights of Columbus St. Vincent Pallotti Council 3471 and St. Martin de Porres rC
Church Choir. Gazzara was an avid train collector and was a member of the train Col-
lectors association. His greatest joy came when spending time with his family for they
meant everything to him.
Gazzara is predeceased by his sister, Pauline Cook. He is survived by his loving wife
of 61 years, Marie Gazzara (nee Brennan); his two daughters, Debbie Burton (tony) and
Charlene franchetti; his son, Michael Gazzara (Dorene); his three sisters, theresa Valerio,
roseanne Gibase (Don) and Patty Gazzara (all of Hammonton); his grandchildren,
Clarkie (Kendall), tony ryan (Casey), Danielle (Max), Carmen (Samantha), Kristen
(Gregg), Kelsey and his great-grandchildren, Poetry, Clark Dylan, Carmen, Chase and
Gavin.
a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, august 19, 2019 in St. Mary of
Mount Carmel Parish, Church of St. anthony’s, Hammonton. entombment followed in
Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. Viewings were held Sunday, august 18, 2019 and
again on Monday, august 19, at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may
be made to the american Heart association, 1 Union St., Suite 301 robbinsville, NJ
08691.

Lawrence “Larry” Errera
Lawrence “Larry” errera, 49, of Hammonton died on friday, august
16, 2019 in atlantiCare regional Medical Center, City Division.
He was born in Woodbury and was a lifelong resident of Hammon-
ton. He was a secretary for Local Union 277 and Union Steward for
Ocean Casino. He also was one of the hosts of the Idiot Show broad-
casted on Wildfire radio Podcast recording Studio. Larry helped coach
his daughter’s softball team in Little League and was a great dad and
step-dad to all his children. Larry was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings
fan.
He is survived by his wife, Courtney rodriguez errera (nee Scibilia);
his children, anthony rocco errera; step-children, Nathan rodriguez
and Mikaila rodriguez; his dog, abby; his mother, Janet Caporale and her husband tony;
his sister, Gina errera-Welsh, her husband Scott and their daughter Presley; his mother
and father in law, Lawrence and Donna Manzi and his sister in law, Kacie Scibilia.
funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, august 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Car-
nesale funeral Home, 202 S. third St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre
Cemetery. Visitations were held tuesday, august 20, 2019 and again today, Wednesday,
from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may
be made to the errera family. everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite team’s jersey
in honor of Larry.

Jane G. Keenan
Jane G. Keenan (nee Whitby), 80, of elm died on thursday, august 15, 2019 at home
with her loving family by her side.
Keenan was a resident of Vineland before moving to elm in 1995. She enjoyed cooking
and would prepare meals for the priests at St. Lucy Church in Blue anchor as well as St.
anthony Church in Waterford. She was a dietitian and worked for ancora State Hospital
in the Dietary Department for 10 years. Her favorite color was blue.
Jane is predeceased by her son, James Patrick Keenan and two sisters, earleen Blem-
ings and Susan Haynie-Carroll. She is survived by her loving companion, Silverio rivera;
her daughters, Nancy Jane Parzanese (Paul Sr.) of elm and Mary Jane O’Connell (Daniel)
of Waterford; two sisters, Hazel Shuster (Bill) and theresa Burns both of Swedesboro
and brother-in-law, earl Blemings, Sr. of Berlin. also surviving is the father of her chil-
dren, James e. Keenan.
She was the beloved grandmother of Paul Parzanese, Jr. (Michele) and James Patrick
Keenan O’Connell, and loving aunt to numerous nephews and nieces.

of Mt. Carmel Parish – St. anthony Church in Hammonton. Burial followed at Oak Grove
Cemetery, 500 White Horse Pike, Hammonton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made

the prime block of S. White Horse
Pike (route 30) police received a
call about suspicious individuals
inside of Walmart, friel said.
Police found Kelly Brunetti, 41,
of Mays Landing, who was found
to be in possession of 28 grams of
controlled dangerous substance
(cds) methamphetamine, multiple
glassine bags, a scale and a glass
pipe, friel said.

session of controlled dangerous
substance
methamphetamine,
manufacture or distribution of cds and possession of drug parapher-
nalia, friel said.

the atlantic County Jail.

• On august 6 at 5:40 p.m., on
the 200 block of S. White Horse
Pike (route 30) police received a
report of a theft of multiple cell
phones. Daniella Devlin, 24, of
Mays Landing was arrested after
she allegedly stole multiple cell
phones from the store, friel said.
friel said Devlin was a former
employee of the store.
She was charged with theft of
moveable property (cell phones)
and with allegedly stealing cash
from the store, friel said. She was
released on her own recognizance
pending a court date in atlantic
County Superior Court, friel said.

Ronald Benedetto
ronald Benedetto, 70, of Hammonton died on august 18, 2019.
Born in Hammonton, ron was a lifelong resident. He worked as a
Business agent for the Laborers International Union Local 472-172 for
more than 30 years and also worked as a shop steward and in safety
training with the union.
He is predeceased by his mother, Mamie Petruzzi nee Urgo; brother,
tom Petruzzi and sister, Philomena “Phyllis” Monzo. Surviving are a
brother, Michael Petruzzi; sister-in-law, Connie Petruzzi and many
nieces, nephews and cousins.

day, august 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Landolfi funeral Home, 237
Bellevue ave, Hammonton, with a viewing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at

egged two cars near a house on
the 600 block of N. first road at
10:54 p.m. on august 12, Ham-
monton Police Lt. Kevin friel
said.
“the observer contacted police
as he watched his vehicle being
egged,” friel said.
the accused subject exited the
yard and entered a dark-colored
sedan following the egging, leav-
ing the scene, friel said, adding
that it was unclear whether the
person egging the vehicles was
male or female.
“two of the vehicles were hit
with eggs, but there did not ap-
pear to be any permanent dam-
age,” friel said.
