Marjorie E. Kilburn
Marjorie e. Kilburn (nee reeves), 93, of Winslow died peacefully
at her residence on tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Born in London, england, she has lived in Winslow for many years.
She formerly worked at ancora Psychiatric Hospital as a secretary.
Kilburn was a longtime member of the Hammonton Methodist Church.
She was an avid card player, and she enjoyed drinking tea which she
referred to as nectar of the gods.
She is predeceased by her two husbands, reverend Josiah P. Sher-
man and reverend frederick H. Kilburn; her daughter, Patricia Mc-
Callin and her great-grandson, tyler Canale. She is survived by two
sons, raymond L. Sherman (Joe ann) and Paul Kilburn (Debbie); one
son-in-law, Joseph McCallin; six grandchildren, Jason Sherman, Joel Sherman (erin),
Joseph Canale (Carol), Marjorie Ortiz (Misael), renee Johnson (Gary), Brian Kilburn
(Melissa) and 13 great-grandchildren.
a viewing was held on thursday, august 1, 2019 at the Carnesale funeral Home,
Hammonton where funeral services also took place. Burial followed at Harleigh Ceme-
tery, 1640 Haddon avenue, Camden.

Robert W. Moorhead
robert W. Moorhead, 46, of Williamstown died on Wednesday, July
31, 2019.
Born in Voorhees, he was a graduate of edgewood regional High
School, and the art institute of Philadelphia where he earned a bache-
lor’s degree in graphic design. He served proudly in the U.S. air force
for six years. Bobby loved family parties, playing with his children
and watching their baseball and soccer games. He had a special ability
to understand, build and repair anything with an engine. He was an
inquisitive mind and a dreamer who learned to build whatever was on
his mind.
He is predeceased by his mother, Deborah Spinella. He is survived
by his father, robert a. Moorhead and second mother, terri r. Moorhead of folsom;
his daughter, Jordan Moorhead; his son, ryan Moorhead; his sister, Heather McCurdy
and her husband, anthony McCurdy; his brother, Shawn Moorhead and his wife, emily
Dispoto; two nieces, Paige and Madeline McCurdy; his longtime companion, Wendy
twiford and her two children; his step-father, Gary Spinella and his step-brothers, Scott
and Don Spinella.
a visitation was held on tuesday, august 6, 2019 at Calvary Chapel in Hammonton,

Incumbents running
unopposed for BOE

HaMMONtON—according to atlantic County, there were three
candidates who filed to run for the Hammonton Board of education by
the filing deadline on July 29. incumbents Barbara Berenato, Linda
Byrnes and John Lyons are running unopposed for the three seats.
the town council has six candidates vying for three council seats.
Hammonton first, the local independents, are running incumbent Coun-
cilman thomas Gribbin and Councilwoman Brooke Sacco as well as
candidate Jonathan Oliva. the local republican slate includes incum-
bent Councilman Joseph Giralo and candidates rocco “rick” fichetola
and anthony rizzotte. the local Democratic Party is once again not
running any council candidates this year.
election Day is tuesday, November 5.

HaMMONtON—at 1:10 a.m.
on august 1, a woman reporting a
burglary on the 100 block of e.
Orchard Street was arrested when
police arrived and found that she
had a warrant in the amount of
$250 from Mullica twp. for a traf-
fic ticket, Hammonton Police Lt.
Kevin friel said.
Christine Cari, 36, of Hammon-
ton told police she left the house
at approximately 11:30 p.m. on
July 31 and when she returned at
1 a.m., she noticed that there were
several items from her apartment
missing, friel said.
“there did appear to be signs of
forced entry on the door. the
amount of items missing is still
unknown at this time,” friel said.
Officer Casey Hendrickson was
the arresting officer, friel said.

Package stolen from home

HaMMONtON—a package was stolen from the
front porch of a residence on the 700 block of Moss
Mill road and was reported to police at 2:15 p.m. on
august 4, Hammonton Police Lt. Kevin friel said.
the complainant stated that at 1:40 a.m., an un-
known subject wearing dark clothing and a tan hat
went up to the front porch of the residence, where
amazon packages were located, friel said.
approximately 10 minutes later, the same subject
went up to the porch and removed one of the pack-
ages, friel said.
K-9 Officer robert zbikowski is the investigating
officer, friel said.
friel said anyone with any information should con-
tact the Hammonton Police Department at (609) 561-
4000.
“We would also remind people to remove pack-
ages as promptly as possible after they arrive at their
residence. Most companies or delivery services offer
an electronic notification service,” friel said.
Late-night swim leads to an arrest

truck on Sunday, august 25.

downtown from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
in the Vine Street Parking lot and
