Josephine Simonetti Josephine Simonetti (nee Gelona), 84, of Winslow twp. died peace- fully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born in Hammonton and graduated from Hammonton High School in 1952. for Josephine, her priority was her family. Devoted wife of Mike, she loved to dance with him and go to the casinos. She worked for Universal Supply Company for more than 30 years and also part time at the Winslow Post Office. She was also very active in Our Lady of Mount Carmel alongside her husband. She is predeceased by her parents, John and amelia Gelona; brother- in-law, frank italiano, and her loving husband, Michael N. Simonetti. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara elliott of Hammonton, Donna Krason (Mark) of Winslow and Lisa Grasso (Joseph) of Hammonton and sister, Suzanne italiano of elm. She was the loving grandmother of Krista Williams (Kenny), aaron elliot, Lauren ritz (Brian), Corinne Nardin (Matthew), Megan Krason and Michael Grasso, and great-grand- mother of emily, Olivia, Brandon, Kenny and amelia. She will also be missed by her caregiver Martha. Margaret H. Paxton Margaret H. Paxton (nee Higgins), 96, of Hammonton died peace- fully on Saturday, July 6, 2019. She was born in absecon Heights, and lived in Hammonton while raising her family and working. She retired from Southern Bell in 1972 after 31 years as a Supervisor and later worked in management for Great Bay Marina in Mystic island with her husband, robert t. Paxton. She then lived in fort Myers Beach, florida for many years before moving back to Hammonton. Margaret was independent and curious and loved to travel. She travelled extensively throughout her long life. She would often say to her loved ones that her favorite things to do were to read, fish, clam and go out on a boat. She spoke often of the many accomplishments of her family, including her father who was chief engineer at the Seaview Country Club and her grandfather, alexander Jacoby, who worked as an actor and stage manager at the earle theatre in atlantic City. She is predeceased by parents, John and Mary Higgins; husbands, Peter Lucca and robert Paxton; son, Peter J. Lucca; daughter, Mary Lucca and brothers, alexander, John, Carl, Joseph and richard Higgins. Surviving are her two step sons, William and r. thomas Paxton and her daughter-in-law, Cathie Lucca of Hammonton. She was the lov- ing grandmother of tracy L. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident there. She was a member of the red Hat Society and the Hammonton Canoe Club. Houston was a self-employed hairdresser. She is predeceased by her husband, David C. Houston. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she has been a resident of Collings Lakes since 1973. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church. She enjoyed traveling and she was very proud of her irish heritage. She is predeceased by her baby son, francis Convey; her sister, Helen O’Hanlon and her son-in-law, William Mayeski. He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Landisville since 1998. He was an avid fisherman who loved all types of fishing and was an avid Philadelphia flyers fan. He had a great sense of humor and huge heart and was willing to do anything for anyone. He is predeceased by his father, alfonso Conti Sr. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee George) and his mother, Marie Conti. He was the dear brother of Danny Conti (tina), anna Marie Conti, Gina Kell (Bobby), Denise tarsitano, Lisa Wood (Greg) and Lori Pizzi (Joe). He was the loving son-in-law of Bernice George and brother-in-law to Walter George (Liz), William George (fran) and Stephanie George. He will be sadly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many many friends. a church visitation took place on friday, July 12 at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Williamstown, and a memorial mass followed. K-9 Officer robert zbikowski was the investigating officer and Officer William Kurz was the ar- resting officer regarding rosado’s arrest on the morning of July 13, friel said. zbikowski and Officer renzo Mendoza subsequently picked up the two juveniles on the evening of July 13, friel said.
