Joseph Continisio III
Joseph Continisio III, 29, of Hammonton died thursday, June 26,
2014, at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong Hammonton resident. He
was vice president of Joseph Continisio Builders where he was a master craftsman. Joe was an avid golfer. He enjoyed snowboarding, skiing and most especially playing with his nieces and nephew.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, rita Gazzara,
and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Kay Continisio. Joe is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Charlene (nee Gazzara) Continisio Jr.; his devoted sister, Cara restuccio, and her husband, frank,
of Hammonton. He was the adoring uncle to Gracie, frankie and rylee restuccio; cherished nephew to Linda and Bill Childs of Laurel Springs, JoAnn and John Domenico of
Hammonton and Lucille and Bob Jerue of Smithville. He is also survived by his loving
companion Antonietta Provenzano.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, June 30 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s
rC Church in Hammonton. Burial followed in Greenmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI NJ,
1562 route 130, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

Myrtle Sacco
Myrtle Sacco (nee Lechner), 107, of Hammonton died peacefully on Monday, June
23, 2014.
Born in Landisville, N.J., Myrtle moved to Hammonton in 1928. During World War
II, she volunteered with the American red Cross to make bandages for the soldiers. She
was a homemaker who, after her husband’s passing, worked at Dan’s Stationery for more
than 15 years. She also held the position of financial secretary for St. James Lutheran
Church and was a member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens.
Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Charles, parents, Alois and Martha Lechner,
and sisters, Viola Musto, Alice Johnson and edna Luertzing. She is survived by her children, Paul C. Sacco Sr. and his wife Angelina of Hammonton, Charles Sacco and his late
wife Barbara Ann of Winslow twp. and Dorothy Mendolia and her late husband Andrew;
her grandchildren, Andrew C. Mendolia (Gloria), Karen Mendolia, Paul C. Sacco Jr.
(Peggy), Bruce A. Sacco (Carolyn), Charles D. Sacco (Judy), Charles N. Sacco (Shelia),
Brian Sacco (Athena) and Craig Sacco (Deanette); 11 great-grandchildren; six greatgreat-grandchildren; and her brother Louis Lechner and his wife rosetta.
family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday, June 28, 2014, from 9
a.m. to 11 a.m. at Marinella funeral Home, 102 N. third St. in Hammonton. funeral
services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 1341 Mays Landing
road in folsom. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. first road, Hammonton. Donations may be made to the church.

Samuel Steinruck
Samuel Steinruck, 73, of Hammonton, and formerly of Audubon, N.J., died peacefully
on June 17, 2014.
He graduated from Audubon High School in 1959, rutgers Camden in 1963, and received his Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Penna in 1964.
He returned to his alma mater to teach social studies at Audubon High School, and later
at edgewood regional High School, before working for the New Jersey Department of
transportation. He was last employed by Yellow Cab in Atlantic City as a dispatcher.
everybody loved Sam. He will be missed dearly.
Sam was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Jennie (nee Haines) Steinruck. He
was the beloved husband of Kathie (nee Larzelere); father of his daughter, Susan and
two stepsons, James William Godfrey (Donna) of Pottstown, Pa., and ryan M. Godfrey
(Meghan) of Mantua, N.J.
Services and burial will be private at the family’s request.
