John L . Morsa , 40 , of Galloway and formerly of Hammonton , died on June 21 , 2016 . Born in Washington Twp , John was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 1994 and University of Maryland – College Park . He worked for 17 years for The State of NJ – Division of Environmental Protection as a Historian . John was an avid golfer and collector .
He is survived by his wife , Melinda ( nee Tenney ); his parents , John and Stephanie Morsa of Hammonton ; his sister , Stephanie Ritzer ( Andrew ); nieces , Alexa and Morgan ; aunts , Kathy , Joan , Mary ; uncle , Ron and many cousins .
Family and friends attended a Christian Memorial Service on Monday , June 27 at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish – St . Joseph Church , Third and French Streets , Hammonton , NJ . Burial will be at convenience of the family . In lieu of flowers , at the family ’ s request , donations may be made to Marks Colorectal

Louise VanDusen

Louise VanDusen , formerly of Hammonton , died peacefully on Sunday , June 19 at Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice in Mt . Holly .
Born in Johnson City , NY , Louise lived in Pennsylvania before moving to Washington , D . C ., with her husband , Henry (“ Van ”) who worked for the Department of the Navy . Eventually settling in Mc- Clean , Va ., Louise worked for the Fairfax County School Board , retiring as the head of the system ’ s food service program . She and her husband moved to Hammonton in the early 1980s . Louise was an avid gardener , early active volunteer with Hammonton First and parishioner at Victory Bible Church . Her most important role , however , was as a devoted caregiver to her husband and her daughter until succumbing to illness herself .
Louise was predeceased by her mother and father , Adeline and Harold Bryant , and her husband , Henry Jeffers “ Van ” VanDusen . She is survived by her children , Kathleen ( Steven ) Barry and René ( Edward ) Wuillermin ; her grandchildren , Tabatha Carey , Edward and Sara Wuillermin , Rusty and Chris Barry and Jen Clist , and eight great-grandchildren . Services will be private at the request of the family . In lieu of flowers , donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer ’ s Association , South Jersey Regional Office , Marlton , NJ 08053 . Nicholas Joseph Labb

Nicholas Joseph Labb , infant son of Nicholas Labb and Katherine Graziano , died on Friday , June 24 , 2016 , in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division .
Nicholas is survived by his parents , Nicholas Labb and Katherine Graziano ; his grandparents , Katherine Storey and her husband , Herbie , Wayne Graziano , Barbie Labb and Robert Capoferri ; his great-grandparents , Hazel and Charles Michael , Glenn and Katherine Weatherford , Teri Wells and her husband , Robert , Anthony Graziano ; his aunts and uncles , Noel Labb , Nathan Labb , Frank Capoferri , Philip Mahran , Sophia Mahran , Drew Graziano , Cameron Graziano , Hillary Storey and his Godparents , Noel Labb and Charlie Sbarra .
Funeral Services were held on Monday , June 27 , 2016 , at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third St ., Hammonton . Burial followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , Hammonton .

Albert A . DeCicco

Albert A . DeCicco , 89 , of Mays Landing , died on Tuesday , June 21 , 2016 , at the Inspira Medical Center in Vineland .
Born in Hammonton , Albert was a graduate of Hammonton High School . A veteran of the Korean Conflict , Mr . DeCicco served in the Army Occupation in Germany . Albert did not like being inactive . He liked to tinker around the house , adding a garage , bathroom and back porch . Albert did anything to make his home more comfortable for his guests . He was a generous man , always ready to share with friends and family . Albert was an insurance executive , employed by Colonial Life Insurance Company for more than 20 years .
He was predeceased by his parents , Joseph and Caroline ( Meglino ) DeCicco ; his brothers , Samuel , Salvatore and Joseph , and his sister , Antionette Capelli . Albert is survived by his son , Albert Anthony ( Nancy ); his daughter , Jacklyn Rae Greb ; his grandchildren , Kelly Rae and Garrett Michael Greb , Dr . Anthony Edward and Victoria Lynn DeCicco ; his sister Caroline Byrne ; several nieces , nephews and sister-in-law , Sarah De- Cicco .
Friends and family attended Funeral services held Monday , June 27 at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . Third Street in Hammonton , NJ .

ACCIDENT , from Page 1 rested for DWI on the 400 block of North Union Road after being involved in an accident with Hammonton Police Vehicle 906 .
“ The officers were investigating a vehicle fire on the 400 block of North Union Road at the time ,” Slimm said .
According to Slimm ’ s release , vehicle 906 , a white marked police vehicle , was parked and unoccupied while Officer John Amendolia was in the area assisting with another investigation .
Wilson was driving a 2001 white Chevy S10 west on North Union Road and struck the police vehicle , the release from Slimm said . There were no reported injuries , and both vehicles were towed from the scene , according to the release .
The release said Wilson was charged with DWI , careless driving , refusal to submit to breath testing , reckless driving , failure to exhibit documents , uninsured and open alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle .

There was an accident at 11th Street and First Road on June 23 .
Officer David Reustle was the investigating officer , according to the release .
In other police news , according to a release from Slimm , two cars were involved in an accident at the intersection of 11th Street and First Road at 12:05 p . m . on June 23 .
Slimm said a 2008 gray Honda Pilot driven by Eugenio Padron , 41 , of Austin , Tex ., was traveling north on 11th Street when he failed to stop at the stop sign and caused impact with a 2000 silver Jeep
Rosemary Mauriello ( nee Girard ), 91 , of Waterford Works , died at home on Friday , June 24 , 2016 .
Born in Philadelphia , Pa ., she was a lifelong resident of the Waterford area . Before retiring , she worked as Deputy Tax Collector for Winslow Township . She was a longtime member of the Winslow Township Democratic Club . Mrs . Mauriello enjoyed cooking , gardening , taking care of her flowers and working around her home .
She was predeceased by her husband , Joseph J . Mauriello Sr .; her son , Joseph J . Mauriello Jr ., and her grandson , Joseph Anthony Mauriello . She is survived by her son , Robert J . Mauriello ( Donna ) of Hammonton ; two grandchildren , Ellen Shendock ( Joseph Caruso ), Robert J . Mauriello Jr . ( Alexandra ); four great-grandchildren , Karalyne and Victoria Shendock , Cole and Eden Mauriello ; one sister , Dorothy Petruzzi ; two sisters-in-law , Mary Monzo and Tessie Girard , and many nieces and nephews .
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday , June 28 , 2016 , at Christ the Redeemer Parish Church of St . Anthony ’ s , 436 Pennington Avenue in Waterford . Burial followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin .

Accident at 11th Street and First Road

Cherokee driven by Alexandro Rodriguez-Ramos , 19 , of Hammonton , who had been traveling west on South First Road , the release from Slimm said .
A third vehicle , a 2014 silver Jeep Cherokee driven by Deborah DeCicco , 48 , of Marlton , had been stopped on 11th Street facing south at the intersection with South First Road , the release said . According to police , investigation showed Padron failed to yield . He was issued for failing to stop / yield , expired driver ’ s license and open alcoholic beverage container , the release said . According to the release , Padron and Ramos ’ vehicles were towed from the scene .
The release said passengers of Padron ’ s vehicle ’ s injuries were as follows : Alna Almadinas , 34 , of Hammonton , was taken by ambulance for a bleeding elbow ; a 17- year-old juvenile of Austin , Tex ., for contusion / bruising ; and Liliana Padron , 20 , of Austin , Tex ., for bleeding .
Officer Jason Rigby was the investigating officer , according to Slimm ’ s release .
Meet new Catholic pastor on July 5
HAMMONTON — On Tuesday , July 5 at 7 p . m ., the Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Parish will be hosting a meet and greet with new pastor Father Peter Saporito . All current and former parishioners are invited to attend . Saporito is looking forward to hearing from parishioners about the parish ' s past and their hopes for its future .
The meet and greet will be held at St . Joseph ’ s Church , 226 French Street , Hammonton .
