Bradley offers insight for June 29 race

Jason Bradley of Pro Pedals, located on the
White Horse Pike (route 30), said the triathletes participating in the triathlon have most
likely trained all year for the race. Pro Pedals
is geared towards road racing and mountain
biking, and Bradley said there are triathletes
that will come to the store from time-to-time.
He participated in an ironman about a decade
ago, and has completed a similar type of distance triathlon three times.
“they have committed a lot of time and
energy, and obviously money to do the sport.
i think it is really cool that a German organization chose this location where they could
have chosen anywhere to go. they are going
to take the expressway. they could have gotten off the Winslow exit, but they chose to
come off in Hammonton, which is really
cool. Besides the Hammonton location,
where you have nice roads around here, 40
miles of the course is right down the street in
Mullica which almost every charity ride
looks to go through there. We organize races
that go through there,” Bradley said.
Bradley speculates there could be some
confusion with the race coming through
Hammonton at the same time the annual
red, White and Blueberry festival is taking
place.
“But it could add some excitement, not for
the festival necessarily, and there could be a

walking tours, house markers. Harry
[Stafford] with the Hammonton Historical Society is going to take
charge of that with the walking
