mory,” the email said.
According to a source from the
150th Engineer Co., the soldiers
will be returning late on July 1.
“The parade is canceled because
the soldiers are leaving too late
from Fort Dix on July 1,” Sgt. Juan
Plata told The Gazette on June 24.
Plata said the soldiers will be
leaving Fort Dix at 3 p.m. on July
1 and arriving in Hammonton between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
DiDonato said obtaining donations from businesses and individuals for the picnic was “easy.” He
told The Gazette they would be
used for the picnic.
“Within an hour or two I had
everything I needed. I now have
people adding on to it,” DiDonato
said on June 23.
