Carmen A. Merlino III
Carmen A. Merlino III, age 46, of Nesco died Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Carmen was born in Vineland and a resident of Nesco his entire life.
He was a 1990 graduate of Oakcrest High School. Carmen was the oper-
ations manager for the family business Oakcrest Farms. He was the chief
of Nesco Volunteer Fire Co. and a member for 27 years. Carmen was a
member of the Atlantic County Fire Association, Atlantic County Chiefs
Association and Cruisin’ Classics.
He is survived by his parents, Carmen Jr. and Mary Jane (nee Spadoni);
his children, Carmen A. IV and Carley and their mother, Jamie and his sis-
ter, Renee.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Today, Wednesday
June 20, 2018 from 6 p.m . to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30
a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish— St. Anthony Church, Rt. 206, Hammonton, NJ. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the Church. Entombment will follow
in Greenmount Cemetery, S. First Rd., Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made in Carmen’s memory for his children’s education c/o Carmen A. Merlino Jr., 3223

Domenic J. Presti
Domenic J. Presti, age 23, of Hammonton died June 10, 2018 in
Asheville, N.C. He was born in Voorhees and was a Hammonton resident
his entire life. He attended Hammonton High School and was employed at
Universal Supply in Hammonton. Domenic was a New England Patriots
fan. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycles, most of all spending time with
his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Robert F. Presti Sr.; his paternal grand-
father, Joseph Umosella and his paternal grandfather, Sam Presti. He is sur-
vived by his mother, Shelia (nee Umosella) Presti; his brother, Robert F.
Presti Jr. and his sister, Danielle Presti, all of Hammonton. Dear grandson
of Carole Umosella and Antoinette Presti. Domenic will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel Parish—St. Joseph Church, Hammonton. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery,
Hammonton. Donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation UNC Chapel Hill, 101
Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

Rosemarie Guerrier
Rosemarie Guerrier (nee Pietrofitta), age 87, of Little Egg Harbor died
June 13, 2018.
She was born in Hammonton and lived most of her life in Northfield.
Rosemarie along with her husband, Joseph owned and operated Gateway
Coffee Shop for more than 11 years. She retired from security at Caesars
Casino in 1996. Rosemarie loved the beach, crafts, cooking, cleaning and
spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves behind her husband, Joseph of 65 years; two daughters,
Sharon and Dawn and her brother, Sam Pietrofitta (Eleanor). Loving
grandmother of Shane, Dustin, Courtney and Dylan, great-grandmother
of Caleb and Tully.
A visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Marinella
Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial was private.

Sisinio Torres
Sisinio Torres, 81, of Buena Vista Twp. died on Thursday, June 7, 2018.
He was born in Guaymana, Puerto Rico to the late Julian Delgado Tor-
res and Juana Santiago. Cecil, as he was known to his family and friends,
lived in Hammonton since 1949. Cecil was a truck driver who drove for
several farms in Hammonton delivering locally-grown produce across the
country. Cecil loved the farm but he loved driving trucks the most. Cecil
enjoyed Spanish and Country music, gardening, and working with farming
equipment.
Cecil was predeceased by his brothers, Moses and Gulliemo. Cecil is
survived by his three children, Angelina, Sisino Jr. and Julian. He is also
survived by four grandchildren, Noah, Dawn, Gabriella and Kevin; one brother, Benito; seven
sisters, Lydia, Sara, Ines, Maria Julia, Maria Dolores, Lucy and Mercedes and many nieces
and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Our Lady of the
Lakes, RC Church, Collings Lakes, NJ.

tions of the apartment, police con-
tacted state and local officials,
Jones said.
“We also contacted the Division
of Child Protection and the Ham-
monton Code Official about the
living conditions,” Jones said.
Jones said Rosado is driving a
white 2007 Dodge Charger with
New Jersey license plate F47
JWU. His charges are possession
of CDS heroin and crack cocaine,
possession of drug paraphernalia,
possession with intent to distrib-
ute and three counts of endanger-
ing the welfare of a child, Jones
said.
Rosado is also a repeat of-
fender, according to Jones.
“He was previously arrested for
possession for CDS heroin and
distribution within a school zone
in May of 2017,” Jones said.

Lena A. Balsama
Lena A. Balsama, (nee Sorrentino), 92, of Hammonton died on Friday,
June 15, 2018, with her loving husband, Sal by her side at the Hammonton
Center for Rehabilitation.
Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident. Lena was a merchan-
dising clerk for Jamesway Dept. Store in Hammonton for 25 years.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Augie, Joseph, and Tony Sor-
rentino; her sisters, Rose Santilli and Jennie Santelli. Lena is survived by
her husband of 70 years, Salvatore Balsama; two daughters, Diane Fricke
and her husband, John of Hammonton, LeeAnn Ruggeri of Vineland; one
son, Tony Balsama of Surprise, Ariz.; one brother, Paul Sorrentino (Claire)
of Hammonton; her grandchildren, Kevin Fricke, Kelly Emmel (Patrick),
Kendra Devens (Daniel), Ashley Bash (Troy); her great grandchildren, K.J., William, Sarah,
Chase, Jocelyn and Lila.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel Parish—St. Joseph Church, Hammonton. Burial followed in Greenmount Cemetery,

Daniel D. Niedoba
Daniel D. Niedoba, age 41, of Waterford died June 12, 2018 at Jefferson
Health in Washington Twp. He was born in Stratford and was a Waterford
resident.
Dan worked as a plumber and he loved sport fishing and being out on
the ocean. He was involved in many Marlin tournaments associated with
the Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club. He enjoyed deer hunting and just
being in the woods.
He is survived by his mother, Georgeanna (nee Condo) Niedoba of Wa-
terford and his father, Joseph Niedoba (Kelley) of Cape May; his daughter,
Kaia Niedoba and fiancée, Georgianna Kountouris. Dear brother of Oddie
Niedoba (Denise) and uncle of Jordan and Bryce Niedoba. Also surviving
is his maternal grandmother, Helen Condo; aunt and uncle, Theresa and Robert Thurston and
cousins, Rochelle (Ed) Newcomb, Gia and Niko.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. Mary of Mt.
Carmel Parish —St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial was in Berlin Cemetery, White Horse
Pike, Berlin.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for Danny’s daughter to help with future

June Third Thursday will be
held on Thursday, June 21 from 6

St. John Society
to celebrate
feast June 24
The annual Feast of St. John the
Baptist will be celebrated on Sun-
day, June 24 at St. Joseph’s
Church. The celebration under the
direction of the St. John the Bap-
tist Society, will feature Mass
scheduled at St. Joseph’s Church
at 6 p.m.
Following the 6 p.m. Mass, a
social will be held at the Knights
of Columbus, Pallotti Council
Hall at 226 Pratt Street.
The St. John the Baptist Society
was founded in 1910 for the pur-
pose of celebrating the Feast of St.
John every June 24. The founders
of the society were Giovanni
Sparta, Mariano Presti, Frank
Gerbase and Angelo Prestopino.
In 1931, the society conducted
its first public celebration with a
street procession. The society was
chartered with the state of New
Jersey in 1932.
The present officers of the soci-
ety are: Frank Carelli, president;
Richard Grillo Jr., financial offi-
cer; Nick Fognano Jr., recording
secretary.
