HAMMONTON — Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Lakeview Drive in reference to a motor vehicle crash hit-and-run at 2:54
a . m . on May 30 , Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said . “ The caller advised dispatch that the vehicle , a silver in color sedan , left northbound on Poplar ,”
Friel said .
Cpl . Kyle Ambrozaitis
observed the accused vehicle in the area of the
White Horse Pike ( Route 30 ) and Eighth Street with significant damage to the front end , Friel said .

HAMMONTON — The Hammonton Early Childhood Education Center ( ECEC ) will add eight classrooms as well as additional spaces for occupational

HAMMONTON — The 37th annual Red White and Blueberry Festival will be held at Hammonton High School ( HHS ) on June 25 from 10 a . m . to 4 p . m . The event will feature numerous food vendors and crafters , inflatable rides for children , live music , a classic car show featuring classic cars from Cruisin ’ Classics Auto Club , blueberry-themed foods , snacks and plants on sale and a pie-eating contest to cap off the event .
A Jitney shuttle service will be provided for guests to go to and from the event . Half of the Road to Excellence will be blocked off for pedestrian traffic . The Kiwanis Club of Hammonton will be running a blueberry pancake therapy and physical therapy ( OTPT ), speech therapy and The Master Teacher for the preschool program , according to Hammonton Public Schools Superintendent Robin Chieco . The new additions allow the school district to free up space at the Warren E . Sooy Jr . Elementary
