Burglary at campground Hammonton Police make DWI arrests Wednesday, June 4, 2014 • The Hammonton Gazette • Page 3 by Gabe Donio by Gabe Donio GazEttE Staff WRitER HaMMONtON—a burglary at the campground office located at 100 Paradise Drive was reported to police at 7:30 p.m. on May 25, Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore said. Campground owner Scott Miller reported someone entered the office facility and removed some electronic items valued at $500, Salvatore said. Salvatore said Officer William Kurz was the investigating officer. GazEttE Staff WRitER HaMMONtON—Police made several driving while under the influence (DWi) arrests this week, Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore said. the arrests included: • May 30 at 10:33 p.m. on S. Egg Harbor Road, angel Macias, 49, of driving by Officer Chris Clements, Salvatore said. • On May 31 at 1:51 a.m. on the White Horse Pike, Jose Ordaz, 30, of Hammonton was charged with DWi, Salvatore said. Ordaz was also charged with failure to maintain the lane, reckless driving and being an unlicensed driver, Salvatore said. Officer Kevin Sloan was the arresting officer, Salvatore said. Jail by Officer Jonathan O’Neil, Salvatore said. • On May 23 at 12:30 p.m., Christopher Santora, 22, of Hammonton was charged with sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual contact, Salvatore said. Santora was lodged in the atlantic County Jail under $100,000 bail set by New Jersey Superior Court Judge Donna taylor, Salvatore said. “there was a disturbance, there was an investigation, and Mr. Santora is alleged to have had relations with a minor,” Salvatore said. Salvatore said Lt. Mark fiorentino was the investigating officer. • On May 23 at 4:13 p.m. a motor vehicle stop led to two arrests, Salvatore said. the driver of the vehicle was Melissa Brower, 29, of Hammon- ton, who was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance that needed to be tested, Salvatore said. Brower was lodged in the atlantic County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail set by Hammonton Municipal Court Judge frank Raso, Salvatore said. Michael triolo, 31, of Hammonton was the passenger in the vehicle. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance that needed to be tested, Salvatore said. “He was also found to have a warrant from Hamilton twp. in the amount of $1,000. He was also placed in the atlantic County Jail,” Salvatore said. Officer Jason Rigby was the arresting officer, Salvatore said. Police officers make several arrests by Gabe Donio GazEttE Staff WRitER HaMMONtON—Hammonton Police made several arrests in May, Hammonton Police Captain Nick Salvatore said. • On May 19 at 9:57 p.m., following a motor vehicle stop on 12th Street, Erika Montelpare, 25, of Waterford twp. was stopped by Sgt. Sam angello and found to have a warrant in the amount of $1,500 from Waterford twp, Salvatore said. “She was charged with speeding and turned over to Waterford twp.,” Salvatore said. • On May 23 at 10:30 p.m., Jarae Lindsey, 28, of Sicklerville was found to have a warrant in the amount of $1,000 from Hammonton, Salvatore said. He was unable to post bail and was lodged in the atlantic County DiMeglio Septic, Est. 1975 ~ DEP 03261 ~ Paul DiMeglio Hammonton was charged with DWi, Salvatore said. He was also charged with speeding, failure to maintain a lane, and reckless driving, Salvatore said.
