obstacles in the pursuit of their col-
lege degrees and ensuing careers
by challenging both the gender
roles of the time, as well as the
male dominance that was rampant
among their respective majors,
prospective career fields and
among the culture of the university
as a whole.
During her undergraduate Class
of 1964’s 50th anniversary re-
union, Klein, who graduated from
the Wharton School of the Univer-
sity of Pennsylvania in 1964 and
from the Annenberg School for
Communication one year later,
gathered with her fellow female
classmates to discuss their personal
professional journeys. Through the
