DeLaurentis retires after distinguished military career

DeLaurentis graduated from the
United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut
in 1985, earning a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He
also received his master’s degree
in public administration from
George Mason University.
The interest in pursuing a career
in the Coast Guard came from De-
Laurentis’ father, Vincent, who is
known by many in Hammonton as
“Coach,” as he was one of the
founders of Camp Tuscaloosa. The
camp remains open today, as DeLaurentis’ sister, Dina, and
brother-in-law, John, run the operations.
