Thomas W . DeCicco thomas W . DeCicco Sr ., of Loganville , Ga ., died on April 24 , 2016 .

Born in Hammonton , he moved to Loganville six years ago . tommy was a retired electrical engineer . He enjoyed gardening , boating , fishing and spending time with family and friends . He enjoyed “ his quiet life down in the South where the fishing is great and the season is all year .” tommy was predeceased by his daughter , Anna Maria Bastedo . He is survived by his daughter , Sheila Meloni of Hammonton ; his son , tommy DeCicco of Williamstown , his significant other , Maggie rowe of Loganville ; his brother , William DeCicco Jr . of Hammonton ; his sister , Betty Deniken Shaw and his stepbrother , Michael Denikin both of Georgia ; the mother of his children , Diana DeCicco ; his grandchildren , Kyle , Billy , tyler , Amber , Chelsea , Michael and his great-grandchildren , Lukas , Aubrey and Logan .

Friends and family attended his Funeral Services on Friday , April 29 at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . third St ., Hammonton .

Kathleen G . “ Kay ” Silipena

Kathleen G . “ Kay ” Silipena , 77 , of Hammonton , died on Wednesday , April 27 , 2016 , in Cooper Hospital / University Medical Center .

Born in Hammonton , she was a lifelong resident there . Kay formerly worked for several different trucking companies as a bookkeeper , and most recently , she worked at Massarelli ’ s Lawn Ornaments in Hammonton . She was a devoted member of Weight Watchers and an avid bingo player . Kay loved her coffee and enjoyed going to different establishments to get “ her coffee .” Kay thought the world of her family and friends and cherished every moment she spent with them .

She is survived by her sister , Phyllis ruberton of Hammonton ; her brother and sister-in-law , John and Shirley Streich of edmond , Okla .; her nieces and nephews , renee K . ruberton , Sheri J . ruberton , tony Streich and Joe Alan Streich ; her great-nieces and nephews , Philip F . Salvatore , rebecca A . Salvatore , Christopher A . Salvatore , Colby A . Salvatore and Sophie Streich ; her greatgreat nephew , Bentley ; countless other close family and friends including the “ Golden Girls .”

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on tuesday , May 3 , 2016 at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish Church of St . Joseph ’ s , 226 French Street , Hammonton . Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , Hammonton . in lieu of flowers , donations may be made to St . Jude Children ’ s research Hospital , PO Box 1000 Dept 142 , Memphis , tN 38101-9908 .

George H . Adams Jr .

George H . Adams Jr ., 90 , of Hammonton , died on Wednesday , April 27 , 2016 , at the Hammonton Health Center .

Born Feb . 6 , 1926 , and raised in Philadelphia , he served in the U . S . Army at the end of WWii and was stationed for 14 months on the island of Saipan , which was part of the Asiatic Pacific theater . George moved to Hammonton in 1955 where he remained a lifelong resident . He worked as a Glass Blower for more than 35 years at the Wilmad Company in Buena . He had a lifelong interest in American History and music , and , in retirement , enjoyed painting .

He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years , Angelina ( nee Bertino ); his daughter ; Bertha Adams and son – in – law , Joseph Falcone , as well as a goddaughter and many nieces , nephews , grandnieces and grandnephews .

Family and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial at St . Mary of Mt . Carmel Parish – St . Joseph Church , third and French Streets , Hammonton on May 2 . entombment took place at Greenmount Cemetery , 124 S . First rd ., Hammonton .

Richard Flores

richard Flores , 54 , of Vineland and formerly of Hammonton , died on tuesday , April 26 , 2016 , at Bishop McCarthy Center in Vineland .

Born in Patillas , Puerto rico , he lived most of his life in South Jersey . He worked as a self-employed contractor .

He was predeceased by his wife , Maria Flores . He is survived by his son , richard Flores Jr .; his daughter , Natasha Flores ; his granddaughter , Aaliyah ; his parents , Modesto and rita Flores ; four brothers , James Flores , William Flores , Frederick Flores and Dennis Flores ; three sisters , elba Cruz , Diane Nieves and Jessica Biasiello .

Friends and family attended funeral services on April 30 at the Carnesale Funeral Home , 202 S . third Street in Hammonton . Burial followed at Greenmount Cemetery , 124 S . First road in Hammonton .

Nicolina Cicatiello

Nicolina Cicatiello ( nee rodio ), 85 , died at her home on April 29 , 2016 .

Nickie was born in rosedale and lived in Hammonton for most of her life . She graduated from Lower Camden County regional High School class of 1948 . Nickie worked in the Hammonton High School Cafeteria for many years . She enjoyed watching all of her sons ’ and granchildrens ’ sports along with her husband and was an avid champion bowler around South Jersey .

Nickie is predeceased by her husband , John ; her parents , John and rosina rodio ; brothers , Sam , Anthony , John , Joseph and Leon rodio ; her sisters , Angie Pitera , Louise ranere , Margaret Goller and Anna rodio . She is survived by her four sons , John Vincent ( Jane ), Gary Stephen ( Francine ) of Providence Forge , Va ., Vincent Anthony ( Lisa ) of Washington twp ., and Alan Michael ( Ann ) of Hammonton ; her sister-in-law , theresa rodio ; her grandchildren , Lauren , Alexander , Vincent , Alan Michael , Jacob , David and Alyssa .

Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Wednesday , May 4 from 10 a . m . -12 p . m . at St . Anthony of Padua Church , route 206 , Hammonton . Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon . Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , 124 S . 1st rd . Hammonton .

emily “ Millie ” Crusco , 94 , died at her home on April 28 , 2016 .

Millie was a supervisor for 47 years at Hammonton Park Clothes . She was also employed by the Waterford township School District as a teacher ’ s aide . Millie loved cooking , gardening , canning , and anything that involved hard work . She also loved spending time with family and friends and making sure they were always well fed .

Millie is predeceased by her husband , Joseph “ Buddy ” Crusco ; parents , Domenica and Joseph Midure ; great-grandson , Nicholas Parzanese , and brothers and sisters , Austin Midure , Josephine Midili , Carmen Midure , Francis Natalie and Lucy Barbatto . Survived by her daughter , Joann Lubrano and her companion , Michael Cosdon ; granddaughter , Maria Parzanese ( Lou ) and grandsons , Joseph Lubrano ( Joann ) and Anthony Lubrano ; great-grandchildren , Alexa , Anthony , Dominic , Lindsay Ann and Ava Nicole ; brothers , robert Midure ( Nancy ) and Anthony Midure ( Connie ), and sister Lena Massarelli ( Harry ).

Barbara A . Blankenship

Barbara A . Blankenship ( nee Baldi ), 73 , of Collings Lakes , died on Monday , April 25 , 2016 , at Kennedy Health Systems in Stratford .

Born in Hammonton , she was a lifelong resident of the Hammonton and Collings Lakes area . She was a 1961 graduate of Hammonton High School . Barbara worked for many years for Wheaton Plastics in Mays Landing .

She was predeceased by her husband , James H . Blankenship ; her parents , Charles and Anna Baldi , and her brother , Charles A . Baldi Sr . She is survived by her son , James H . Blankenship Jr . ( Lori ) of Collings Lakes ; five grandchildren , James , Jeff ( Christie ), Lou , Brie and robert ; her sister-in-law , Charlene Baldi ; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews .

Woman dies after accident

Man faces charge

HAMMONtON — Kathleen Silipena , 77 , of Hammonton , died on April 27 as a result of injuries sustained from a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident located in the Walmart parking lot at 55 S . White Horse Pike ( route 30 ) on April 14 at approximately 6 p . m ., Hammonton Police Chief robert Jones said .

“ Ms . Silipena was struck while in the crosswalk while heading toward the Walmart store . She was struck by a 2002 Chevrolet trailblazer operated by Anthony ingemi iV , 38 , of Hammonton . Mr . ingemi advised that he did not see the pedestrian due to sun glare ,” Jones said . ingemi was charged on April 30 with failure to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk , Jones said . the accident is being investigated by K-9 Officer robert zbikowski and members of the Hammonton Police traffic Unit , Jones said . it is also being reviewed by the Atlantic County Prosecutor ’ s Office , Jones said .
