The following expenditures were also approved: Longo for Middle School Science Labs for a total of $261,996.83 based on MRESC State Approved Cooperative Pricing; Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for Go Math textbooks for the middle school in the amount of $33,106.16; Marlee Contractors LLC to replace shaft on cooling tower at the high school in the amount of $10,325 based on Ed-Data Coop Pricing; Spellcaster Productions to upgrade the high school gym audio systems in the amount of $9,448.06 based on the lowest quote; Dell to purchase a server for the Warren E. Sooy Elementary school in the amount of $6,868.91 based on WSCA State Contract Pricing; Edward R. Woods & Co to replace the heat exchanger at the Warren E. Sooy Elementary School in the amount of $7,700 based on lowest quote. The board approved the authorization to bid choice school and non-public student transportation services to Folsom School, St. Augustine Prep, Pilgrim Academy, St. Mary’s School, Solid Rock Christian School, Our Lady of Mercy, The Ellison School, St. Mary School, Islamic Academy of South Jersey, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Vincent DePaul Regional School for the 2016-2017 school year. The board unanimously approved the following 2015-2016 tuition contract costs for four homeless students: Hamilton Township Board of Education for two students in the amount of $9,938 per student beginning October 13, 2015. Cherry Hill Public School Board of Education for one student in the amount of $9,547.91 beginning November 10, 2015. Galloway Township Public School Board of Education for one student in the amount of $12,684.60 beginning September Wine & beer expo April 27 HAMMONTON—The Greater Hammonton Chamber of Commerce’s Eighth Annual International Wine & Beer Expo will take place at Tomasello Winery on Wednesday, April 27 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. The event will feature Wine from Wineworks, a great array of beer and ale from Kramer Beverage, an assortment of imported cheese from Bagliani’s Market, sweet treats from Sassy Sweets, layered Pesto Crostini from Kitchen 19, meat and pasta stations, and live music.
