Martha Monzo Martha Monzo (nee Clauss), 89, of Hammonton, died peacefully at home on february 29, 2020 with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Hammonton and graduated from Ham- monton High School in 1948. Martha retired from W.B. Kessler Memorial Hospital where she worked in the environmental Services Dept. in the early years of her marriage she worked on the family farm with her hus- band, Joe. She enjoyed the simple things in life: flowers, birds singing and watching beautiful sunrises. One of her favorite past times was trav- eling with her sister freda, as well as going to the casinos with her girl- friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Monzo; her parents, Samuel and Helen Clauss; brothers, Samuel, Otis, Warren and richard Clauss and sisters, Margaret Jennings and Helen Doerfel. Surviving are her children, Betty ritz and her husband anthony, William J. Monzo, and Jo ann Pantalone and her husband Louis all of Hammon- ton; one brother, robert Clauss of Hammonton; two sisters, Hilda Packard of Lynnwood, Wash., and freda Lutz of San Bruno, Calif. She was the loving grandmother of Brian ritz (Lauren), Michelle and David Monzo, amy Pantalone (James) and ashley D’agostino (Joe) and two great-grandchildren, Oliva and Brandon ritz. She will be sadly missed by her sis- ters-in-law, Sally Clauss, Verla Clauss, rita alvino, Mary Monzo and many nieces and nephews. family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, March 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Marinella funeral Home, 102 N. third Street, Hammonton. funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. at the Hammonton Presbyterian Church, 326 Bellevue ave. Bertino Sarah M. Bertino (nee Manera), 96, of Hammonton died on Saturday, february 29, 2020 in Seashore Gardens in Galloway. Born in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Bertino formerly worked as a machine operator for Kessler Clothing Co. in Ham- monton. She also owned and operated a custom drapery business with her late husband, anthony. She is predeceased by her husband, anthony J. Bertino; her son, an- thony J. Bertino, Jr.; her parents, George and Carrie Manera. Frank Silvesti frank Silvesti, 92, of Hammonton, died March 2, 2020 at home sur- rounded by his loving family on first rd. where he was also born. frank was a dedicated Hammonton first responder for more than 70 years where he held the titles of assistant Chief of the Hammonton Vol. fire Company No. 1 and Lieutenant of the Hammonton rescue Squad. He graduated from Hammonton High School, was a dedicated Hammon- ton sports fan and received the all Sports Booster Club fan award. frank served in the U.S. army during WWii. Schellhas, 100, of Delran died on thursday, february 27, 2020 in Laurel Brook rehabilitation & Health Center. Born in folsom, she was a lifelong area resident. She formerly worked for fralinger’s and Whitehall Laboratories. Mrs. Schellhas was the or- ganist at St. James Lutheran Church in folsom for many years, and she also played for the reformation Lutheran Church in absecon. Her family was everything to her, they were her greatest joy. John Ceanfaglione John Ceanfaglione, 43, of Hammonton died on february 25, 2020. He was born in aliquippa, Pa., graduated from Pleasantville High School and the College of New Jersey. John worked for asphalt Paving Systems in Hammonton and was a member of the Laborers Union #172. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is predeceased by his father, John Ceanfaglione and brother, Martin Walsh. Surviving are his wife, Brittany (nee Wall); his daughter, Jaycee; his mother, Carole Ceanfaglione (nee Mahler); sisters, Carole McDermott and anita findley and brother, adam felder. Born in Blue anchor, he lived most of life in the folsom and Ham- monton area. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS ticonderoga. Be- fore retiring, Phil was an owner/operator for Lance inc. Many years ago he was a Cub Scout Master in folsom, and he served as a councilman in folsom. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Susie; his daughter-in-law, Donna Marie; his twin brother, Joseph and his sister, Caroline.
