member of the planning board could assume the spot without any issue.
“Members of the board, I am very, very
grateful. I am quite certain that everyone
here sitting tonight could certainly be up
here as chairman, so I am very grateful for
having this opportunity. I will do all my
best to fulfill all your thoughts or any questions, just send them this way,” Marinelli
said.
The vice-chairman position has to be assumed by a Class IV member, meaning he
or she has to serve a four-year term, board
solicitor Michael Malinsky confirmed. The
board decided not to fill the position at the
first meeting of 2014, and chose to table it
until a later date. If the chairman isn’t present at a meeting, a Class IV qualifying
member would be eligible to take the position at that particular session.
For example, board members Mayor
Stephen DiDonato, Councilman Paul Esposito and Dr. Michael Hozik are Class I,
III and II classification, respectively. Any
other member on the board is eligible to fill
the chairman position, if Marinelli isn’t
present for one of the meetings.
The board solicitor was voted on at the
meeting, and after the nomination process
concluded Michael Malinsky of Fitzgerald,
McGroarty and Malinsky was named to the
position for a repeated one-year term. Malinsky thanked the board for another year of
service.
“I appreciate being able to represent you [the board] and being able
to represent for another year. Thank
you again,” Malinsky said.

test through reading them. He discussed the interesting process of entering the sweepstakes.
“This particular sweepstakes I
actually had problems entering.
Usually, you get to enter every day
so I do that every day. This one, I
actually had technical difficulties. I
only entered maybe four or five
times for the couple of months the
promotion was going on. It was
dumb luck,” Wilson said with a
chuckle.
To be the winner out of 250,000
entries might have been luck, but it
had to be exciting for Wilson as
well. He was happy to be bringing
home a brand new car.
“It is nice. I wanted the actual
racecar, but the option to take this

daughter said ‘Take the racecar. We
will park it out on the front lawn.’ I
also thought it is nice to take it for
the Blueberry Festival. I am taking
