HaMMONtON—John Ciarlante, 49, of
Hammonton is accused of stealing 37 cans
of crabmeat from the Hammonton Shoprite,
valued at more than $1,000, Hammonton
Valued at $1,036; Chief: Ciarlante charged
Police Chief Kevin friel said. Shoprite
pressed charges against Ciarlante after he al-
legedly stole the cans of crabmeat at 2:24
p.m. on January 23, friel said.

shoplifting charges would be a third degree
crime because it was between $500 and

relatively strong.

January 11 to lay out its goals for
2020. HrC is the parent corpora-

Gala, which this year has been re-
named the Wildcat Gala.
