Gaetana Josephine Attard
Gaetana Josephine attard (Dimech), 98, of Hammonton, died peace-
fully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, January 4, 2020.
She was born in Hamrun, Malta. She immigrated to the United States
in 1975 with her family, and spent 45 years as a resident of Hammonton.
She is predeceased by her husband, fortunato; her parents, anthony
and Maria Dimech; sisters, rita Vella (Paul), Carmela Ciantar (francis)
and ann Gauci (John); brother, anthony (Maria) and sons-in-law, alfred
Pace and Harry Baldwin. Surviving are her six children, Carrie Baldwin
(Harry), Connie Pace (alfred), Louis attard (Marianne), frances attard,
Joseph attard (Natalie) and raymond attard (Carmen); sisters, Ines Pace
(Charles) and Mary Chetcuti (francis); brother, alfred Dimech (Doris);
seven grandchildren, frank Baldwin (Leeann), Mary Baldwin (Joseph), Mark Pace (Joann),
Keith Pace (Mari Dean), James attard (Dorianne), Stephen attard (Pauline) and Brian attard
(MarySusan) and nine great-grandchildren, Michael Baldwin, Melissa Baldwin, Nathan
Baldwin, austin Pace, Cameron Pace, Daniel attard, erica attard, Kurt attard and Brayden
attard.
a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11
a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph’s, 226 french St., Hammonton,
where a viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre

Robert “Bobby” Olive
robert “Bobby” Olive, 49, of Hammonton died on thursday, January
2, 2020 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, surrounded by his loving wife and
family.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. He was a proud mem-
ber of the Heavy and General Laborers Local Union 172, working for
Mount Construction Company. Bobby was the proud owner of 15 West
farms in Hammonton, where he enjoyed farming and caring for his black-
berries. Bobby approached everything with love and passion ... his work
ethic was unparalleled to everything he set his mind to. He was an active
parishioner of St. Joseph’s roman Catholic Church in Hammonton.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Jeanne J. Olive (nee ford); his parents,
William M. Olive Sr. and Janice Olive, all of Hammonton; his brother, William a. Olive
(amanda) of absecon; his father and mother in law, James W. ford Sr. and Jeanne M. ford;
his brother and sister in law, James W. ford Jr. and Gina ford all of Hammonton; his nieces
and nephews, Jacqueline, Lily Grace, Damien faye, zeppelin ellis, November Dawn and
ever Yuri and his two adored canine girls, tutti and Monkey. H
a viewing was held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at St. Mary of Mt Carmel Parish Church
of St. Joseph’s, Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial was also celebrated. Burial
followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers family requests dona-

Louise Lista, O.C.D.S.
Louise Lista, O.C.D.S., of Hammonton, died at Samaritan Hospice on
January 4, 2020.
Born august 9, 1933 to anthony and Helen (Palermo) Sperandeo, she
lived in South Philadelphia until moving to folsom as a teenager. She at-
tended Hammonton High School and graduated in 1951. Louise was the
owner and operator of Louise’s Beauty Shop in Blue anchor until she re-
tired to raise her five children. She later returned to work for many years
at Whitehall Laboratories. In the year 2000, Louise entered the Discalced
Secular Carmelite Order as a candidate. She was clothed with the Scapu-
lar on april 1, 2001 and as an aspirant, began the formation Program.
She made temporary Promise on May 4, 2003 and Definitive Promise
on November 1, 2010. through her life and dedication to prayer, Louise demonstrated a
true Carmelite vocation. Louise will always be remembered for her wonderful Italian cook-
ing, legendary tailgate parties and July 16 celebrations, her generous heart, love for family
and friends and her devotion to Catholicism. She was a powerful prayer warrior for family,
friends and community.
She is predeceased by her parents and husband, William (Bill) Lista. She is survived by
her children, Karen Lista (Joe) of Crownsville, Md., Kathy Lista allen (Gary) of Orlando,
fla., William Lista, Jr. (Patricia), of rumson, N.J, toni ellen Lagona (nee Lista) of folsom
and Michael Lista (Kimberly) of fairhaven, N.J.; her grandchildren, Danielle Cardile-Chap-
man (Nick), Brian and David Isaksen, Cara (Craig), William, III, and Julia Lista, Michael
Lagona and Micaela Glassman (David), allison, John and Jamie Lista; great-grandson,
Joshua; brother-in-law, anthony Lista (Carmelita); sister-in-law, theresa Sakas; nephew,
anthony; niece, annette; many loving cousins, dear friends and her cherished Carmelite
sisters.
a Mass of Christian Burial will be held thursday, January 9 at noon, at the St. Mary of
Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church, third and french St., Hammonton. Visitation will be
from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon) prior to the Mass. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers,

Man arrested at bank

was the responding officer, and he
encountered Garrett Marsh Jr., 39,
of Swedesboro, who was found
yelling at tellers while a police of-
ficer from Mullica twp. was at-
tempting to calm him down, friel
said.
When attempting to bring the
suspect outside of the bank and
separate him from employees,
Marsh declined to go outside the
building, friel said. When Hen-
shaw ordered him to do so, Marsh
took an aggressive stance inside
the building, friel said.
“When advised he was being
placed under arrest, he walked out
of the building, pulled away from
the officer, ran toward a parked car
and jumped on the hood of it,”
friel said.
Marsh was placed under arrest
and charged with resisting arrest
and disorderly conduct, friel said.
He was processed and released

Marie Ola Piazza-DiGerolamo
Marie Ola Piazza-DiGerolamo, 86, died on Saturday, December 28,
2019, at the Medford Care Center in Medford.
She was active in her church communities, the Lioness Club, and later
in the NJ Vegetable Growers association with her husband, rocky. Marie
was devoted to her family especially her beloved grandchildren. She was
an avid walker, enjoyed traveling, dinner and dancing with her husband,
rocky. they spent many happy years together.
She is survived by her husband, rocco DiGerolamo of Hammonton;
her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carrollann Piazza of Medford;
her grandchildren, rachel Piazza, Nicole Piazza and Melinda Bryan and
her husband, David; her sisters, Henrietta McCarthy and Gloria Hazell
and a long list of beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, countless
members of the DiGerolamo family and many friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Joan of
arc rC Church, 100 Willow Bend road, Marlton, with a Memorial Mass to follow. In lieu

Frances M. Bellace
frances M. Bellace (nee Giacobbe), 83, died on Wednesday, January
1, 2020 at Virtua Hospital in Marlton.
frances was born in Hammonton. She was a 1953 graduate of St.
Joseph High School and an honors graduate of St. agnes School of Nurs-
ing. She worked with her husband Pete in various family businesses, most
recent, Williamstown auto & truck Salvage for more than 30 years. She
was an avid racecar fan and loved NaSCar. She also enjoyed playing
bingo, car shows, entertaining, cooking and sports. frances was always
there to lend a hand.
She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and eleanor Giacobbe and
brother, Joseph Giacobbe. Surviving are her husband, Pete a. Bellace,
Sr.; children, Pete a. Bellace, Jr. of Winslow twp., frank Bellace of Snydertown, Pa., and
Patricia Bellace of Marlton; her eight siblings, Butch “albert” Giacobbe of folsom, Charles
Giacobbe of Hammonton, anthony “Wicky” Giacobbe of Buena, John Giacobbe of Ham-
monton, richard Giacobbe of Mt. Holly, Maryanne Smith of North Carolina, Penny
arminger of arizona and Joanne Glenn of florida. She was the loving grandmother of
Domenic Cairoli (Hillary), Christine Cairoli, anthony Cairoli, Michael Cairoli (amber),
frank Bellace, Vincent Bellace, Matthew Bellace, angel Bellace and Isabella Bellace, and
great-grandmother of aria Cairoli.

Laboratories and Kessler Clothing Shop
both in Hammonton. She enjoyed cook-
ing, baking, watching “Wheel of fortune,”
“Jeopardy!” and the food Network. She
was an avid follower of the Philadelphia
eagles, Phillies and flyers.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ger-
aldo and Carmela Xuereb; her sister-in-
law, Mary and brother-in-law, Philip
Mejlak. Surviving are her loving husband,
John Galea; her son, James Galea of Ham-
monton; two sisters, Geatana Mejlak and
Katie Scicluna (Guzeppi) and her four
