Maintenance of large gully remediation is essential to preserve the integrity of on-ground works and prevent further erosion. Biodegradable mesh was tried on a Havilah site instead of hay during the revegetation process. The idea is to find out if this mesh( pictured below) can hold up against wind and heavy rainfall, especially during the wet season.
