LDC PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
THE LDC Photography Competition
attracted a lot of interest across the
BBB with more than 100 entries being
presented to Judge Scott Radford-
Chisholm. Winners were announced at
the Midway Social Event.
PEOPLE’S CHOICE – Jocelyn Omand. Judge’s comment: I think we can all relate to
this situation, but for the city slickers it’s only having to deal with the stray one or two
that follows you inside the moment the screen door is opened. Having 2000 of them
at once is a whole new ballgame. Good use of long lens and capturing the precise
moment so candidly, telling a story well. Good to see country humour captured well.
JUNIORS – Jorden Ford.
Judge’s comment: Images
with a bit of thought and
creativity really stand
out from the crowd.
By looking through an
object, it already creates
a framework, leading the
viewer to the central and
most important part of
the overall image. Well
done to Jorden for an
imaginative image.
