Spirit Week encourages students to showcase their wild school spirit through creativity and take pride in their school. Spirit week revolves around competitive activities and themed dress up days. Every year, students from all grade levels come together and show that they’re one happy Griffin family, and this year was no different!
This year’s Spirit week included four themed days: villain day, squad day, decade day, and spirit day! Students and teachers really got imaginative and had costumes ranging from Dolores Umbridge to Beetle Juice for Villain Day.
Day two was Squad Day. Everyone participated, including some of the teachers who got together and formed their own squad, aka the NASA team. “Squad day was really fun. Me and my friends dressed up and enjoyed competing with everyone else. It was honestly a great activity to be a part of.” Freshman Amber Flores said in a statement. Though everyone tried, it was clear to see the Adams Family looked the best, taking home the win for that day.
