Expectation vs Reality
W
hen it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle
and even starting a new fitness regime, far
too many people have various expectations,
when in reality it is something completely
different - usually a lot easier too!
Here's a few things to think about once the New
Year comes ...
Expectation - You have to spend hours in the gym
in order to achieve any noticeable results.
Reality - You can do as little as 3 x 45 minute
sessions per week to get results We usually
recommend training with us three times per week
and we encourage people just being more active in
general, go for a walk at lunch, focus on how many
steps per day you can do, increasing activity will
increase fat-loss.

Expectation - You have to eat ‘rabbit’ food when on
a diet, live off salad and carrot sticks.
Reality - You can still enjoy the things you LOVE, like
chocolate, alcohol, eating out and still get results -
it's all about energy balance and eating in
moderation.
Expectation - "I've eaten one salad and done one
workout, why aren't I seeing results?"
Reality - in order to see and achieve real progress it
takes weeks/months of consistently following a
training and nutrition plan.
It's not a straight journey with linear progress, you
will have ups and downs, things that will set you
back and weeks where you're absolutely smashing it
and pushing hard. But it's all about seeing the long
term goal and believing in the process.
