Making baskets is a fascinating skill to learn and the process can be extremely therapeutic. Your experienced tutor has been making baskets since the early 1990's, preferring to work with unstripped willow, a lot of which she grows herself. This workshop is a suitable for beginners and also those who have some basket making experience. You will be guided through the making process and will learn the various techniques required to make a substantial round-based basket, known as a fruit basket, around 30cm in diameter. 10am to 4pm.
