Basket Making Workshop
This workshop is the perfect introduction to the
ancient art of basket making and will see you
making an attractive basket - in a day! Making
baskets is a fascinating skill to learn and the process
can be extremely therapeutic. Your experienced
tutor has been making baskets since the early
1990's, preferring to work with unstripped willow,
a lot of which she grows herself. This workshop is
a suitable for beginners and also those who have
some basket making experience. You will be
guided through the making process and will learn
the various techniques required to make a
substantial round-based basket, known as a fruit
basket, around 30cm in diameter. 10am to 4pm.
