The concert includes 19thC music by Mendelssohn and Rheinberger, as well as early music by Hildegard of Bingen, Palestrina and others; and both ensembles come together for a performance of music from Karl Jenkins' 'The Peace Makers'. A former Head Gardener, lecturer in Horticulture and with an MA in Garden History, Michael has a particular interest in medieval gardens and plants and is known as the Historic Gardener. Michael will discuss poisonous plants and their use throughout history. Be warned! Many of these plants may well be growing in your garden.
