Ο οικισµός οφείλει την ονομασία του στο οµώνυµο εκκλησάκι, ιδιαίτερα δηµοφιλές
στους κατοίκους της ευρύτερης περιοχής, που το επιλέγουν για σηµαντικές προσωπικές
στιγµές τους. Στέκεται αγέρωχο «πάνω στα κύµατα», στην κορυφή τεχνητά
υπερυψωµένου λόφου πάνω σε φυσική νησίδα, ενώ µπροστά του απλώνεται µια
µοναδική παραλία. Η πανοραµική θέα στη θάλασσα και στα νησιά του Αργοσαρωνικού
από τη µία, όσο και προς τον οικισµό µε τα επιβλητικά δέντρα και τα εντυπωσιακά
σπίτια από την άλλη, κόβει την ανάσα...
The settlement was named after the chapel of the same name, particularly popular
among locals, who choose to visit it for their important personal moments. It stands
majestically on the waterfront, at the top of a raised hill on a natural islet, with a
wonderful beach spreading at the front. The panoramic views of the sea and the
islands of the Argosaronic Gulf on the one side, and the settlement with the majestic
trees and the impressive houses on the other side, is breathtaking...
