πρόσφερε -σε αυτήν
την πλατεία- για την
Επανάσταση του Γένους ό,τι
είχε και δεν είχε, δηλαδή
ένα γρόσι και ένα ασηµένιο
δαχτυλίδι!
In the year 1826, the
poorest woman in the town,
Psarokostena (after which was
nicknamed the Greek country),
in order to contribute to the
Revolution of the Nation,
offered in this square everything
she owned: a piaster and a
silver ring!
