μπάνια . Τα Γρυμπιανά ήταν τσιφλίκι που αρχικά ανήκε σε Τούρκο μπέη από τον οποίο το αγόρασε ο αρματολός Μπουκουβάλας . Αυτό το τσιφλίκι , με έκταση 600 στρεμμάτων , το δώρισε ο Μπουκουβάλας το 1803 στη Μονή Μεταμορφώσεως . Απόδειξη αυτού του γεγονότος είναι το ξύλινο τρίπτυχο που σώζεται στη Μονή και ονομάζεται « Πρόθεσις της Αγίας Μεταμορφώσεως ». Τέλος , όσον αφορά στα αξιοθέατα που μπορεί να θαυμάσει κάποιος μέσα στο χωριό των Βραγκιανών , ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει η περίφημη εκκλησία του Αγίου Δημητρίου που θα την συναντήσετε στην πλατεία του χωριού η οποία σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες των παλαιότερων κατοίκων , μάλλον χτίστηκε το 1891 από Τζουμερκιώτες τεχνίτες .
VRAGIANA ( also known as “ Mikra Vragiana ”) village , seat of the former of Acheloos , is located on the west edge of Karditsa region , at the border with the Arta region . It is built at an altitude of 650 meters , on the west slopes of Galatsi peak of south Pindus . The village extends across a slope between Britsio and Motsio torrents . Its landscape is wonderful , as it is surrounded by the verdant Mirmitzala , the majestic Kokkinos Stanos , Stavros , Lakko , whole in the east of the village stands Pyrgos . Achelous river flows at the foothills of the village . It is one of the most vibrant villages in Argithea , with picturesque cafés , guest houses and water mills , while the former building housing the town hall , donated by Syngros , is also worth visiting .
