higher self really), and it came in fully formed – all the details – except the actual brand name! I knew what the products would look like, that they’d be imported from America and Canada, that we’d have Makeup Artists teaching women how to do their own makeup in group lessons, and selling our product. I still worked as a superannuation lawyer for 8 years, while I developed the business model and systems and the makeup brand for Iridis, before I finally quit law forever in 2015. I haven’t looked back in the 3.5 years I’ve been a Hair & Makeup Artist and Founder & CEO of Iridis Cosmetics.
2. What is your WHY? And why?
My WHY is to teach women how to see themselves in a much more positive light, and I do this by teaching them how to apply their makeup and how to find and honor their beauty.
My bigger WHY is to bring out the best in every woman or girl I come into contact with. Be that the Makeup Artists I mentor to build their businesses, , or the clients who finally see what makes them the most beautiful, or the teen who has confidence issues, and I show her how to improve her self esteem and see all the positive traits she brings to the world.
