During the week, I see my therapy clients from morning into the evening, mixed in with teaching my college students and grading. Cuddling up on the couch with my husband watching some brainless TV series is my guilty pleasure the last hour or two of the day before bed. Weekends are devoted to paperwork (ugh!), teaching, household maintenance, and self-care time usually in the form of spending time with my husband, family, or friends. As I get older, I’d like to scale back to enjoy the fruits of my labor more and be more focused on my specific passions.

7. Being a successful and powerful serial entrepreneur, what is your advice to upcoming entrepreneur regarding how to market their businesses or their brand?

The most important bit of advice I could impart would be to emphasize the importance of niching. We can’t be everything to everybody and we end up spreading ourselves too thin and then get lost in the crowd of our competitors. By niching and finding your specific audience that aligns with your values and passions, it becomes a life purpose force that helps you be more targeted with your mission and it draws your targeted audience to you in a streamlined way. You become known as the “go-to” expert in your chosen topic or field of interest and helps you grow your business exponentially and gives you more reach to help the people you were born to serve.
