What Will It Look Like?

I posted this question within our closed group for the Chemo Buddies 4Life Community Closed Group on Facebook, “What will it look like after COVID-19?” The responses did not surprise me, yet touched my heart. You see, this community, the community that is attached to the nonprofit of which I am the President and Co-founder, Chemo Buddies for Life (CB4L.org), is no stranger to how the possibility of a life-threatening disease can turn everything upside down on a dime.
When I read the responses, it made me stop and ponder. The comments of my, “Buddies” could have been answers given to a similar question during the Spanish Flu, the Great Depression, or one of the World Wars. The common denominators I found were faith, friends, family, love.
As I have shared before in the Global Achievers Magazine, I am a student of history. In some ways, history can provide comfort by showing our current challenges are not altogether unique.

What are the lessons of yesterday that will help us to find a better tomorrow? How can we grow as a global community and find a way forward together? Is there a method, a process, a formula to restore our world and make it better?
One of the answers that I received within our community was, “I think people will become more appreciative of what they have. We’ve been alone/isolated so long with our thoughts and families. You don’t always realize what you have until it’s gone
