Can Good Things Come From The Pandemic?

My name is Carol Rodgers. I am a wife, mother and now a proud and spoiled grandmother of a rambunctious two-year-old. During this Covid-19 pandemic, I am stuck inside my home with two adult children who have left the nest and returned. My son came back as he went out, alone. My daughter returned as a wife and mother. She even brought a dog and her husband’s niece!

I think I am the only one in my home who is truly quarantined. Everyone else including the niece and grandson finds a reason to go out every day, even my husband! Maybe I need to find a reason to go out too, because my husband thinks I’m getting cranky. I guess I’ve been stuck in the house for too long. I’ve prayed over my house, like Moses prayed over the children of Israel before Passover so I thank God the pandemic will pass us over, but if anyone does get the virus, they will be asymptomatic.

Being inside so much during this pandemic, I’ve read many magazines, watched an obscene amount of television, talked too much on the phone, and had wa-ay too many Zoom meetings. Yet something great has come out of this quarantine--I have actually sat down and started planning a women’s group.  It stems from an idea I’ve had for quite sometime. We are beautiful, sexy, and alluring too! Yet we come with something most younger women haven’t attained yet, and that is wisdom! It’s great to be young, but it’s even better to be wise. We’ve been through the fire, we’ve been tested and most of us have come out of the fire better than you went in.

When we’re teasing about age,
