FASHION SPOTLIGHT Have you ever wanted to wear a trend but didn’t think you could pull it off? We’ve all been there. Meet Amy; a full figured and fashionable fashionista. Keep reading to find out how YOU can adapt any trend to compliment your body...curves and all! Hello, I’m Amy. I am the writer and owner of the fashion blog Full Figured & Fashionable. My goal at Full Figured & Fashionable is to be an inspiring role model for body positivity and self confidence. My blog is a place where no body type is shamed and all are celebrated. I want to put an end to the statement “If I were skinny I would wear that”. My mission is to share all styles, ideas, and trends on a curvy body proving wrong the idea that you have to be a certain size to wear certain clothes. I want to put to rest the fallacy that fashion is exclusive to size, that bright colors are taboo, patterns or horizontal stripes are prohibited and prove that figure flattering clothes are absolutely acceptable. Stop hiding and hating your curves and embrace them! Full Figured and Fashionable is a laid back, light hearted blog just for fun that features me, my outfits and if you’re lucky enough you’ll catch my dogs in there with me! I’m a regular person like everyone else just trying to put fun outfits together on a budget and sharing them with all of you. I shop my closet and share the same items in different ways to utilize pieces to their fullest. I have worked with well known companies such as Jessica London and One Stop Plus. I have been featured in magazines as well as been the focus of body positive projects. My greatest desire is to reach as many people as I can to help them realize they are beautiful and that they deserve to feel good about themselves. They no longer being ashamed or unsure about their bodies, but courageous and powerful. Come with me on my journey through fashion! Dressing up and dressing down, I love high heels, and flip flops, active wear to formal wear. Mimic a super chic outfit idea or be inspired to create your own. Either way you will be able to take advantage of my outfit ideas to avoid your own snafu’s or be the shining example of confidence you always knew you had in you. I’m not perfect, not every outfit will hit the nail on the head,. But if you are going to make a mistake, make it with grace! Join me at fullfiguredandfashionable.blogspot.com to be part of a body positive revolution! Or even just to see some really cute outfit ideas. ~Amy 46
