Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund HELPS OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES

The Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund ( SSPBF ) was formed and incorporated in 2010 as the only organization authorized by the Sandy Springs Police Department to accept donations and raise funds on the department ’ s behalf . With the vision of fostering and enhancing the quality of life for the members of the City of Sandy Springs Police and Fire Departments and other local public safety organizations and First Responders , the SSPBF was formed and has lived up to its original goal for over eleven years . Most importantly , the SSPBF not only assists Sandy Springs First Responders exclusively , but also helps members of all other agencies , 911 centers , EMS , and Fire departments . Throughout its existence , the Fund has helped employees from agencies that include but are not limited to the Federal Bureau of Investigation , Atlanta Fire Department , Atlanta Police Department , Cherokee Fire Department , Covington Police Department , Dunwoody Police Department , Dekalb County Police Department , Hall County Sheriff ’ s Office , Fulton County Police Department , LaGrange Police Department , Smyrna Police Department and the North Carolina Highway Patrol . The Foundation is volunteer based and made-up of an Executive Board composed of ten members . Throughout the years , the SSPBF holds several fundraising efforts , with its biggest fundraising event being the annual Golf Classic tournament , where over 150 golfers participate . In 2012 , the SSPBF held
