Acer’s Predator line-up has made a name for itself in producing
some of the best gaming equipment in the industry and the
Acer Predator Z301CT ultrawide 30” monitor certainly brings
your gaming to the next level.
For the review we tested this monitor hooked up to a gaming PC
running a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM and the experience
was mind blowing! When it arrives, you know this is a serious
upgrade to your gaming rig, the box it comes in is massive
showcasing the great detail of the screen and really makes you
get it out and start using it right away.
Assembling carefully is important with any monitor, to get it
right first time without trying to damage your newly purchased
item, and with a monitor this large with a curved screen this
process could be tricky.

However, the geniuses at Acer have managed to make this
extremely simple with just a 2-part construction, the screen
and stand in one part and the foot plate in another. Once you
have settled the screen down you can simply slide the base of
the screen in to the stand with no need for tools, due to a very
handy tightening pull-tab allowing you to attach the screen to
the base of the monitor in a matter of seconds.
Once set up, you are greeted by the beautiful 2560 x 1080
resolution screen that delivers 100% sRGB coverage via an
aspect ratio of 21:9 making your games really stand out from
the crowd. Viewing angles are fantastic with its 178° wide field
of view and the ability to raise the screen by 120mm or to be
titled by -5° to 25° and swivelled from -30° to 30° gives end
users plenty of options to get that perfect view to immerse
yourself into your gaming or video editing etc.
