Character and Leadership Play Integral Part in BGGA Ambassador Program uilding character and defining excellence is ingrained in everything we do at Bishops Gate Golf Academy. It’s imperative that our students leave the Academy as better people than they were when they arrived. To help facilitate advancements in character and build future leaders, BGGA established its Ambassador program in 2015 to serve that purpose. “Being an ambassador means being an example for other kids here and to show them good character and accountability,” said Tracy Lee, a current BGGA Ambassador. “It also means making sure I’m doing the right things every day. I’ve learned a lot about leadership, accountability and being responsible for my actions. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the kids to act with integrity, so I try to show them how to be respectful for other people, be diligent and be a good leader in the community.” The definition of ambassador means a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity. And that’s what we’ve built. The students will serve as leaders to oversee the safety and order of their home. This group serves as the student’s voice to help support and implement the house rules and create an environment of learning and fun in their home.
