intensity in her training made all the difference to her overall
performance and that is a behavioral change that stands out.
Well done for stepping up!
Most Improved Athlete: Tim Winter
Tim was new to the BGGA program and formal gym training,
but he stood out from the very beginning. The attitude and
level of effort put forth even at our initial testing sessions
was noted and for this reason alone Tim was placed in our
more advanced training group. He continued to bring the
same intensity and discipline to his practice throughout the
year easily keeping pace with his peers. An impressive and
consistent effort this year – well done!
Most Improved Player: Yoko Tai
Yoko had two sub par rounds, came in 2nd at Faldo Series
U.S. Grand Final, won the IJGT Junior at Falcons Fire, won
AJGA Windham Mountain Resort Junior All Star, finished 16th
out of 118 at Junior Worlds and is ranked 32 on Junior Golf
Scoreboard.
Yoko is a 3rd year student at BGGA and a wonderful young
lady. We are excited to see what she does in golf and life.
Most Improved Player: Sam Duan
Sam was a transfer student this year. He is very committed
to his golf, and has worked consistently to improve. Sam
came in 6th at IJGT Black Bear, 6th at IJGT Orange Lake, and
shot an even par 72 at AJGA Visit Tallahassee Preview. But
even more exciting is he came down 9 shots on his scoring
average.
The Diligence Award recognizes that student golfer who
is an all-round achiever in all aspects of golf and athletic
development and has worked hard in all areas. The recipients
have shown tremendous grit and perseverance throughout
the year and are a testament to diligence and commitment.
Diligence Award: Maria Fedorowycz
Maria is dedicated, gives 100% effort and is fun to be around.
She has blossomed this year with some impressive rounds of
golf and impressive putting on Saturday Roll-Up.
